This group is a way to expand your Christian social circle in the Seacoast area. It's an activity club for people who follow Jesus. Our events will primarily be game nights, dinners, Christian concerts and worship nights. Members should live in the Seacoast area so we can build an active group. Towns include: Portsmouth, Hampton, Exeter, Rye, Seabrook, New Castle, Stratham, Newington, Newmarket, Kittery, York, Eliot

 Things to do and people to do them with. Meet other busy people, and meetup members near you! A great networking opportunity, as well. It's an especially nice venue, for those who don't like the bar scene.   Dances, sporting events, parties, bonfires and outdoor activities, theatre etc. will be posted, sometimes with other Meetups (the more the merrier:). Hi all! My intention is for this to be a very friendly group of people (at least nearing 40 if not over) who love to do local things outdoors and fun activities indoors. I've lived in this county for the better part of 20 years and am finding there's lots to EXPLORE right here! Hiking the White Mountains is great, but this group will provide many options closer to home for outdoor fun. We'll have occasional distant excursions as well though. During the colder months, we'll do lots of active indoor activities too! Bring your sense of adventure as this will be MY first time doing some of these walks/hikes!  And since I have a deep intellectual side, I'd also like to plan some discussions on topics of interest like or maybe even have guest speakers... A note on the current state of meetup affairs as it compares to R.O.A.M.:  Because I'm concerned about the impact on the environment of bringing a huge group of people on a nature trail and because I feel huge groups negatively impact the experience of others who are trying to enjoy the beauty and quiet of the outdoors, our groups are limited to 20-25 people.  While Mountain National Forest Rules recommend all groups be limited to 10 people and and require the limitation in designated "wilderness" areas. We also will never charge annual dues or membership fees, claiming that it helps with the cost of running a meetup group (seriously...collecting a $15 annual fee from thousands of members is a money making venture, not a group of friends getting together).  This groups operates in the original spirit of meetup. We do this because we love to and want to share it! Please join if Rockingham County destinations are convenient for you, you love friendly people and you love to have fun!  

Please join us for some fun, friends and paddling! Meet other local paddlers and outdoors enthusiasts! This meet-up was started for kayakers to get connected with others who share the enjoyment of kayaking. We are mostly beginner and intermediate paddlers, but all levels and ages welcome! Our main passion is kayaking but because we all love the outdoors you will see non-kayak trips posted on our calendar!

Since we have a diverse group of organizers you can find the type of trip that fits your energy level for that day. Our most popular trips are the leisurely paddle exploring New Hampshire’s beautiful lakes and slow moving rivers, with plenty of wildlife viewing and socializing. Sorry no white water!

This is a meet-up so there is no membership fee! We encourage members to get involved by posting trip ideas and leaving feedback on trips they have taken with us! If you do not have a kayak yet you will need to rent one and transport it to the put in site. 98% of the places we put do not have rentals at them.

This group will focus on outdoor activities - mostly winter sports includng downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing - and apres skiing! We will also do some hiking and other active outdoor activities. Do you enjoy weekday outdoor activities? Skiing, Biking, etc? Initially, this group will be to arrange some last-minute single-day or multi-day outings to ski resorts, such as Gunstock and the White Mountains. When the weather forecast and the snow conditions are good, I will announce an outing. If we get two or more participants, we can carpool from Dover or Portsmouth to the southern edge mountain. Open to anyone who is retired or otherwise available on weekdays.

Welcome to the Raymond Hiking Meetup Group! If you have an adventurous spirit & love being in the great outdoors, then this is the group for you. We are a community of hiking, camping, kayaking, orienteering and fitness enthusiasts who enjoy exploring the natural beauty that Raymond & its surrounding areas have to offer. Whether you're a novice or experienced, come join us as we embark on adventures, forge new friendships, & create memories. Let's embrace the wonders of nature together! I used to be a member of the Raymond Area Outdoors Group. Over time it lost its leaders so it was purged from Meetup. I hope to restart the group & make it a fun, functional group, focused mostly on hiking. Most hikes will be in the Raymond area. Hikes will happen year round. Contact me if you want to assist as organizer, have suggestions or requests for a specific hike. Most meetup groups charge a small fee for each event. I do not want that pain so I paid all meetup fees for a year. Please don't try to pay me for any events. Instead of paying me, consider paying 25$, however, (any amount makes you a member) for a Bear Paw Regional Greenways membership. I'll try to have membership application forms at all hikes. They support many outdoor organizations and their equipment is as good or better than anyone's.

This group is for anyone in their 20s, 30s, or 40s (must be 21+) who is interested in hiking, regardless of experience. The reason for the age restriction is to encourage younger adults to get out and enjoy the outdoors and make friends! For this reason, we mostly do easy to moderate difficulty hikes, but we occasionally do some more challenging hikes and camping trips for those interested and able. Typically (though not always), we will go out after each hike to a brewery or pub for food and beer. Often, members will bring beer up with them to enjoy and/or share at the top. All members are encouraged to post their own events here. Members who host events will have their dues waived. Events can be hikes, other outdoor excursions, visits to breweries, brewfests, parties, etc. If you are not sure if people would be interested in your idea, feel free to use the Discussion feature to ask! When you join, you will have a 6 month free trial before you are required to pay dues ($10 per year). I will send out an e-mail reminder before this happens. If you host at least one event for the group, you will never owe any dues. Our dues help pay for the annual Meetup organizer fees, and it is a way to encourage active memberships and event organizers (which means more fun events!). Any leftover money will be used for occasional meetup socials and/or parties. And beer! Rules for Membership: 1\. Treat everyone with respect\. 2\. Keep your RSVPs up\-to\-date if your plans change\, and please message your event host if you will be late\.
