ALPINE OUTDOORS is a friendly community of enthusiasts who enjoy outdoor activities, appreciate nature, and believe that "Together is Better". The goal is to be active, explore the outdoors, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The type of activities organized includes hiking, trekking, mountaineering, biking, camping, kayaking, travel/tours, and other activities. The events range from easy for beginners, and moderate, to strenuous levels. Guidance can be provided to develop hiking-outdoor skills, purchasing or using outdoor gear, practicing for treks, etc. Additionally, network with like-minded people, be inspired and have fun!! An elite platform with hundred's of events organized and executed proficiently throughout the year including winter which is a wonderful time to be outdoors. Additionally, there are events organized to explore national parks, and international trekking trips [e.g. Mt. Kilimanjaro (Africa), Patagonia (Chile), Tour Du Mont Blanc (Alps), The Dolomites (Italy), Everest Base Camp EBC/ABC (Nepal), Mt. Aconcagua (Argentina), Machu Picchu (Peru), Ladakh (India) and domestic treks such as Grand Canyon (Rim to Rim), Yosemite (Half-Dome), etc.]. All skill levels and backgrounds are welcome to join the group, including beginners. Learn new skills and enjoy social activities! At some meetings, we will teach each other different skills that we know. At other meetings, we will enjoy live music or outdoor games. Let's socialize together and develop individually and collectively! Events organized by the Friends of the Wicoff House in conjunction with the Plainsboro Recreation Department and hosted at the Wicoff House Museum. The Wicoff House was built circa 1878 by John and Catherine Wicoff. The Wicoff House Museum does have an accessible ramp.

Outdoor (park, backyard, etc) Meetings for people who want to form a social group of people who are anti-Covid (What does this mean? You are *actively* avoiding infection by masking in public places, using air filtration, and cutting-edge prophylactic measures such as nasal spray, CPC mouthwash, etc after probable exposure). It would be nice to discuss freely our opinions on how society is changing, techniques to avoid Covid, and commiseration on the state of things. Open to walk-and-talks, outdoor games and board games (masked). Looking for any like-minded individuals, but also families with children who are also avoiding infection through homeschooling or other measures.

Welcome to Exploring the Sourlands Group! This group is perfect for outdoor lovers looking to connect with like-minded individuals who enjoy hiking, exploring nature, and socializing. The Sourlands contain 25,000 acres of contiguous forest, 7,500 acres of wetlands and some 18,000 acres of agricultural lands in active production (https://www.njconservation.org/project/sourlands-hopewell-valley/).

Our group of amazing women are all about living life to the fullest, sharing laughter, and creating memories.  A dynamic, diverse women’s only group over 40 that comes together to share camaraderie, conversation and new experiences.  Come meet and make friends with like minded active women. What We Do: We explore the outdoors with hikes, nature walks, creativity classes, culture with visits to museums, theaters, and historical sites, movies and unique experiences that we may come across, eg, painting in the Apple orchards, tulip picking, Chinese Lantern festival, holiday events etc., weekday and weekend events. Of course eating, drinking, laughter and conversation are part of it. We also have mix and mingles, restaurant sponsored games for fun and dinner and ice cream socials. You work hard all week; you deserve a Big Weekend Adventure! We're a community of active weekend outdoors adventurers mostly from New Jersey. We organize various bike rides, kayak tours, hikes, and post-activity meet-ups. Have an event you would love to see? Why not host it? The best things about being an event host are that you get to choose what, when, where, how far, etc! You will also get to meet new people! We are a fun and friendly group of outdoor enthusiasts (hiking, camping, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, kayaking) who also love board games, live music, volunteering and other social events. Many of our events also have a Christian fellowship component, but all are welcomed. You do not need to be a Christian to join. Some, but not all, of our events will target different age groups.
