Just a "hang out group" of solo women over 48 in the Hudson Valley area (loose parameters on age and relationship status). Looking to foster a fun and supportive environment for all solo women. Open to suggestions: coffee, yoga, book discussions, pickleball, walks, bike rides, restaurants, movies or plays. Are you age 50 plus? We are a four-season group focusing on outdoor events in a relaxed setting, a group that is welcoming and warm. Many wonderful friendships have grown over time among our members. Many of our activities are focusing on dining and hiking right now, but there are other things to have fun with. I am limiting group sizes for many events these days. Sorry!!! We are all easy-going, dog-loving people, and we understand that some dogs need a little more time to warm up to the pack. I'm not an elite athlete by any means, but I like to get outside and hike and explore new areas -- even places that may require extra effort, stops to suck in some oxygen, and some Motrin for my knees when I'm done. But that's ok, it's the adventure and the people you meet you along the way that makes it all worth it. If you like to hike and participate in other outdoor activities and you're having a hard time finding fellow adventurers your age who still want to get out there, this is the place for you.
