The goal of this group is to bring together individuals looking to socialize with other third shift employees in the Northwest Columbus region. Currently, there is no set agenda or activities planned for this group. My goal is to identify individuals looking to meet up with a group, develop a normal cadence to life without sacrificing it all to early morning isolation. From here maybe if we can build enough momentum we can start planning activities.

Meet with other people who love the outdoors! From hiking and camping to sports like Ultimate and volleyball, we are all about outdoor activities and sports. We've done pretty much everything: hiking, kayaking, camping, whitewater rafting, ziplining, backpacking, climbing, scuba, biking, rapelling, paintball, outdoor volunteering, frisbee and soccer and volleyball, and more. All Adventures Welcome!

If you want to get outside, breathe some fresh air, and make new friends - come join us! We are a relaxed and friendly group. Our membership is diverse, a mix of single and couples, with most members in the 25-50 age range. We're looking forward to meeting you and hope that you will help us to keep it cool. Outdoor Afro is a national not-for-profit organization that celebrates and inspires Black connections and leadership in nature. What started as a kitchen table blog by Founder and CEO Rue Mapp in 2009 has since grown into a cutting-edge nationwide network with 100-plus volunteer leaders in 60 cities. “Where Black people and nature meet,” Outdoor Afro reconnects Black people with the outdoors through outdoor education, recreation, and conservation. Fortify your social life and your friendships. Meet other intelligent, independent, interesting women who don’t have children or don’t have young children at home and have more time in their schedule for get togethers.  Planning events does take some effort so we are hoping everyone can take on some of the responsibility so that we may keep this group active. This group is for successful inspiring professional ladies ages approximately 35-55.  Activities may include dinners out, outdoor activities, fitness, live music, dancing, or whatever you post! Everyone will be made an organizer so more events can be planned. Dues will cover the cost of the board, *they are not free.* ***\*\*\*Removal Policy- \*\*\**** It takes time to plan events, not moving your status to "not going" and "no shows" are automatic removal of the group and membership dues nonrefundable if you are removed per Meetup policy.  Signing up for an event and canceling last minute (same day)  2 times is automatic removal.  We understand things happen, but after 2 times last minute within an hour before event,  this is a pattern, we have waitlists for more dedicated members. ***Also.. New members*** who keep signing up and *holding spots* while we have a waitlist and never been to a meetup before and ***keep canceling are removed after 2 times, if you can't get to a meetup -commit -then this isn't the group for you.*** Must have a photo to join so we know who to look for at events. We have a wonderful group of women who get together and hike the metro parks and beyond-- in Franklin and some surrounding counties. Most hikes are a moderate pace (18 minute mile) while others are faster and/or more strenuous (climbing etc.). Join us and get to know some wonderful women friends and share hiking spots you enjoy as well. We also occasionally bike, kayak and paddle board and are open to other fun activities if enough interest. Currently, most hikes are on Tuesday and/or Thursday. Hope to see you soon and often!

Climbing without a partner? Tired of auto belay letting you down? If you’re looking for climbing partners in the Columbus area to do indoor and outdoor real rock, Bring your level of experience, whatever it may be, and let’s build a climbing community in Columbus. The hope is for this group to provide a platform to plan gym sessions, outdoor climbing and camping trips, as well as events that give back to the climbing community through crag development and cleanup.

This is a group for building community, strength and mobility without an expensive gym membership. We'll make use of the outdoor workout stations in Columbus together - beginners and advanced alike.

Real Moms of Hilliard is a support group based out of Hilliard, OH for stay-at-home or part-time working moms from all walks of life. Our group is more than just a Facebook page: we meet in person and make long-lasting friendships with one another! We plan and organize daily activities throughout the year (including home-based playdates, community activities and outings, special events and holiday celebrations) to encourage our kids to play and socialize while us moms can enjoy conversation, share information and resources, and just be sounding boards for one another. Group members have access to our event calendar (via Meetup) and are free to attend as many or as few events. Most of these events take place in/around Hilliard, OH, although we enjoy finding other activities around the Columbus area. Annual dues are $30, which go toward materials and supplies for group-organized playdates and celebrations, special events, and charitable activities.
