Looking to get out, active, and social with your dog? Perfect! You're in the right spot. Hi, I'm Tracy, a certified dog trainer and canine and human fitness trainer. I just relocated to Eugene and after hosting 70+ pack walks in Los Angeles, I'm excited to offer these monthly events for people and their dogs in/around Eugene. All dogs welcome. One dog allowed per handler. No dog required to attend. **Requirements:** * Dogs must be at least 6 months old. * Dog's up-to-date vaccine records (DHPP, Bordatella, and Rabies) shared at least 24 hours before they attend their first pack walk. * Signed liability waiver must be submitted at least 24 hours before you and/or your dog attend your first pack walk. * Dogs must be on a 6-8 foot standard leash. This is the Eugene chapter, we are one of many Active 20-30 clubs in the USA and Central and South America. We do a lot of work in the community including fundraising, and helping at events with kids. Active 20-30 is also for personal development and growth and a great place to meet new friends. We are currently doing a membership drive and looking for more people to join our club. We are new to Meetup, but our club has been around for 97 years strong!

This group is for anyone in the Eugene/Springfield area who loves photography, from novice to pro, and who enjoys meeting with other photography enthusiasts in an environment where we can make photos, socialize, learn from each other, and inspire one another. Most of our regular attendees are shooting with a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera, and some (but not all) of our activities will benefit from a camera that is configurable in order to get the most out of the experience. Having a camera with a bunch of professional features is not a requirement for participation, however, and smartphones can do some impressive things these days. An enthusiasm for photography is really the most important thing that we all share. While there are opportunities to learn from others in this group, it is important to understand that this is **not** a photography class or workshop. The Eugene Go Club doesn't seem to have reformed since COVID started, and since things are looking better for the time being (knock on wood), I'd like to propose we start meeting again! My goals for the group are: 1. To be as inclusive as possible for both new players and people who are conscious about COVID precautions. This means dedicating time to teaching new players and wearing masks when possible. 2. To provide a regular meeting place for playing and potentially have lectures or study groups for players of all levels. 3. To have fun and grow a community :) I'd like to find a place that we could meet year round, but given that outdoor seating is still best to mitigate the spread of COVID, that will be difficult. For the time being I'm going to propose meeting at the 5th Street Market since it's covered and has some amenities around. Please let me know if you have any concerns or questions!

Welcome to the Eugene Oregon Atheists Pub Social. We are atheists, skeptics, freethinkers, secular humanists, agnostics, critical thinkers, and a variety of other things the non-religious call themselves. The group has been meeting Monday nights for years. The emphasis is on “social”. We don’t always talk about issues related to atheism, although that often comes up. If you want to talk about atheism, just ask, you’ll find plenty of people willing to talk about it. We tend to be an open group who will talk about anything as long as the discussion is based on reason and evidence and not faith and dogma. It is becoming more and more acceptable to call yourself atheist, but atheists still have to be careful in many environments including at work and among friends and family. This group was started to provide a place where people don’t have to worry about expressing their nonbelief and where they will not be proselytized to. The main activity is a meetup the second Monday of the month at 6:30 PM for food, drink, and conversation. (We used to meet every Monday but then, you know. We might start meeting more often at some point.) There is usually someone there by 6:30, but don’t worry about being there exactly at that time - feel free to come later. For newcomers: RSVPing is not required, but it is helpful if you can. As it is, there are usually more people attending than the Meetup site indicates through the RSVP process. Spencer Butte Sunset Hikers

Eugene, OR

We'll do a regular sunset hike up Spencer Butte every Wednesday evening. It's a great opportunity to see the amazing variety in the sunsets. We chat and get to know each other while we hike and watch the sunset. We often share information about other outdoor activities in the area.

Everyone is welcome. Spencer Butte is a challenging two mile round trip hike with 800' of elevation gain. We go at our own desired speeds on the way up, so do not feel that you need to be able to "keep up" with everyone. On the way down we make sure that whoever is last isn't alone. (If you haven't been physically active in some time or have health concerns, please confirm with your doctor that this activity is appropriate for you before joining us.)

Sometimes after the hike we get together at a restaurant or bar.

The Wednesday sunset hike is the core activity for the group. A few other hikes and activities may get posted during the year. There may be some other more spontaneous Spencer Butte hikes during the week, but we'll see how that works out.
