The Butler Outdoor Club promotes outdoor education and year-round outdoor activities. Activities are for all levels and are designed to provide recreation and foster a better understanding and responsible use of the outdoors.

This group is for singles in their 20's and 30's that love playing sports, having fun and meeting new people. The focus of our Meetup group is events like Happy Hours, sports and recreation, group activities (like paintball or Escape Rooms) and adventure. Hate being stuck inside your house during the week? This group is perfect for you!

This social group is for people mostly their 20s and 30s, in the PITTSBURGH area, who enjoy drinking, dancing, dining out, bars, happy hours, outdoor activities, road trips, dinner parties, and other local activities. This group is for singles, married people, new-in-towners, and people who have been in the Pittsburgh area for a while and are simply looking for a new group to go out with. Membership is FREE, and you only have to be friendly and fun to join!

What we do as a group:

Its all about having fun and getting away from routine life for a day, a weekend, weekdays, or even longer trips ...
We live in a fantastic location with the outdoors minutes away and outdoor activities and camping are some of the best ways to enjoy the splendor of the outdoors and our Mountains here in Western PA.

All of our trips, activities, events, etc will come from our members and organizers. Everyone is encouraged to make suggestions and throw out ideas for planning our next activity, trip, or adventure!

Our camping trips will include a wide variety of camping types: Backpacking, tent camping, car camping, pop-up tent trailers, and some places accessible by Camper or 5th wheel.
We are Pet & children friendly, in fact adults, kids and pets are normally invited to any trips/activities, but PLEASE read the description of each activity &/or trip for any specific information regarding kids & pets. Always contact the organizer for that trip, if you have any questions. Please note that pets are not allowed on some trails or in some areas.

We are not only about camping ... outdoors activities, longer trips, day hikes, rock climbing, fishing, mountain biking, skiing, road trips, and more in the Western PA AREA

Welcome to our social networking group for Pittsburgh socialites in or approaching their 30s. Our events offer a unique way to make new friends and meet like-minded folks in a laid-back atmosphere.

Please note our focus is on SOCIAL connections, not for professional networking or dating. If you're joining this group to advance a professional or romantic agenda, please seek membership in another group.

We schedule casual gatherings in different locations as they seem appropriate; these can include not only "happy hours" and house parties, but outdoor activities including hikes, kayaking, et cetera. 

This group is open to people of all professions, relationship statuses, races, sexual orientations, religious/philosophical beliefs, and ethnic backgrounds. All we ask is that you hold yourself to four standards of behavior: dignity, diligence, community, and responsibility.

While this group is open to people who are approaching their 30s (i.e. 25+), membership in this group (especially for vicenarians) is contingent on people acting with the maturity expected of people in their 30s (tricenarians). If you're a member who has just turned 40, don't worry; we won't exacerbate your potential mid-life crisis by kicking you out of the group. But we will encourage you to consider joining a more age-appropriate group.

You will be required to complete a brief questionnaire to introduce yourself this group (in keeping with our ethos of community) Your answers become part of your group profile and serve as your self-introduction to the group. Please answer them honestly.

Food, Fun & Friends is a Pittsburgh area women's only social club that is all about establishing friendships and participating in fun activities and events. Meet other women in our community for socializing, exploring, learning new things, networking, dining and so much more.  Gather with women who love to have fun and who are always up for an adventure!

Join to see what local activities are planned - could be anything and everything - shopping trips, community theater, brunches, teas, playing cards/games, cooking, beading, outdoor activities, visits to the casinos or just out having a ball around town. The possibilities are endless...  If you don't see what you want, just organize your own event and invite others to join you!

This Meetup group started in 2009 and primarily focused on sports leagues and 1-day tournaments. Things have changed quite a bit since then but we still place a heavy focus on sports and outdoor recreation. Our most popular events over the past few years have been activities such as happy hours, kickball, Escape Rooms, Big Ball (a sport I invented in college), mini-golf, ultimate frisbee, trivia, bowling, wine tasting and more.

Most of our events throughout the year are outside since it is easier to find places for large groups of people, along with the fact that it's usually cheap or free too.  We're always open to suggestions from our members so we can make sure we're having events for everyone. Please be advised that some of our events have an age restriction of 21 and older as they will be located in bars & pubs throughout the city.

The main focus of the group is being active, having fun and meeting new people.  Hope you can help make us one of the best Meetup groups in Pittsburgh!

If you like to spend time outdoors, then this is the group for you! We offer you the opportunity to get outside through a variety of outdoor hiking events.

Pittsburgh Hiking Meetup is run by volunteer leaders who love the outdoors and want to get people outside. We are not paid guides. We do this because we are passionate about being outdoors. We are outdoor enthusiasts like yourself.

*Each volunteer determines what kind of hike they want to post.
* Each event has different expectations, directions and details. Please take time to read the details carefully and make sure the hike you are interested in is the right one for you.
* If you have questions about a specific hike, please email the specific hike leader directly.

When a person hosts a hike, that person represents the Pittsburgh Hiking Meetup Group, and must follow the rules of the park (and enforce them to the hikers she or he is leading). The group cannot risk being ejected from a park because of a few of its hikers. This is also to ensure the safety of the dogs.

If you host an event, you represent the group, and with this privilege comes the responsibility of following the law.

ALL DOGS on hikes with our group must be leashed at ALL TIMES.

When participating in Pittsburgh Hiking Meetup events, it is assumed that all participants are responsible for their own safety and of their dependents (such as children) at the event.
