That's where the bulk of our social outings take place, although we occasionally travel around. Our purpose is to provide social opportunities and activities to women 50+. We are a private group, so you must be a member to see other group members and our outings. Our members pay annual dues to the maintain membership in the group, as Meetup charges us fees to be here, as well as other activities we sponsor. We do a lot of Happy Hours (many don't partake of the alcohol just the nibbles), occasional coffee klatches on weekends, local events at Peddler's Village, lunch at local restaurants, dinners out, theater, beach days and more. We respect our members decisions about participating as they prefer, however, as we are a ***social*** group we do have policies in effect such as each member is expected to attend at least ***one event every 2 months*** to remain a member in good standing. If this isn't what your expectations for socializing are, then we are probably not the right group for you. Also, if you sign up - you show up! So please, make sure only to sign up for events you can actually attend. We do remove non-participating members to make room for those who do come out, as we generally have several applications from folks waiting to join at any given time. Single Parents and Kids Social Club

At its core, the purpose of this social club is to provide a variety of high-quality entertainment and activities to forge lasting social connections. This is not a typical "support group" but an activity based club for single parents and their kids living in Bucks, Montgomery, and Philly (suburbs). While the target membership is single parents in their 20s, 30s, and 40s with younger kids, certain exceptions are welcome and made on a case-by-case basis. Every attempt will be made to identify appropriate activity-based age ranges for events. Adults are responsible and accountable for their own and kids' behavior and safety. This is not a dating group, so the utmost respect for others is paramount. If connections are made all the power to you :) Bullying and harassing behavior will not be tolerated. Certain events may be held at private residences, thus limiting participation. So make every attempt to get to know organizers and hosts on a personal level.
