My Favorite Social Group

Monroe, WA

My Favorite Social Group

New to Snohomish County? Been here forever? Looking for things to do? Looking to add to your social circle? Let’s get started!!! This group is for adults over 30 that enjoy new experiences and meeting new people, from outdoor activities like hiking and ziplining to brew tasting and pub Trivia. We are all about having fun!!!!

We encourage members to schedule meetups; once an organizer approves the event it will be added to the calendar. Meetup has retired the "Meetup suggestion" feature.  This group has varied interests and most suggested Meetups become an event. This is not a dating group. There are members in every relationship stage within this group. If you are only looking to hook up this is not your group.

Be Safe
All organizers and members must take ownership over their safety, and must never put themselves or others in danger. We expect all organizers and members to be mindful of local laws when engaging with their Meetups.

Rules
1). Clear, recent photo of your face so we can find you at our events.
2). Must be at least 30 or older, many of our Meetups are in bars or have alcohol at the event.
3). User name should be first name, last initial ( Example John Q ). First name should be what you want people
to call you or know you by.
4). Keep RSVPs updated as much as possible. We understand plans change, but it is not fair to the organizer
of an event to expect members who don’t show up.
5). Attend a meetup at least once a quarter. Lurkers and squatters will be removed. Inactive members (no
visits to the site in 12 months, for example) will be removed, but feel free to rejoin if you have more time or
interest in the future unless removed permanently by the organizers for any reason.
6). You are responsible for ensuring you are physically or logistically able to attend and participate in a Meetup you RSVP for.
7). You are an adult and expected to act accordingly.
8). Treat people as you would want to be treated.
9). Save the Drama for your Mama

Disclaimer: Organizers and planners accept no liability for loss, accidents or injuries in connection with any activities published herein or on any linked sites. Each person should understand they are voluntarily participating in and are responsible for themselves in any event. Safety is the utmost importance when connecting people online, and you agree to follow common sense guidelines when attending, hosting, and participating in events. Participation is 100% voluntary and each individual does so at their own risk. We reserve the right to remove members from the group.

Puget Sound Firearms Enthusiasts

Woodinville, WA

Puget Sound Firearms Enthusiasts
Puget Sound Firearms Enthusiasts was founded in 2012. On Fri 1/14/2022 at 6:06am, PSFE was deleted from meetup and I'm currently fighting tooth and nail to get all of the pictures, posts/threads from the message board and discussions as well as the money/expense report from our original PSFE meetup group. Once I receive all the pictures/content, I will repost them on the new and improved Puget Sound Firearms Enthusiasts rebooted no thanks 2 meetup shooting club. Firearms have been an integral part of American culture right from our country's birth to the present day. If all you're looking for is a group of people who just like guns but without all the messy politics, you've come to the right place. This group is open to all men and women who are at least 18+ years old. This group is for all Washingtonians who care about keeping our rights to own firearms, shooting sports and to those who defend the 2nd amendment. Since we have members throughout the greater Puget Sound area, naturally not everyone will be able to attend our meetup events...so all PSFE members can host their own meetup events. \*\*If you would like to host your own meetup event, just contact my co-organizer (Jeff, the one with the Alaskan Malamute) with the date/time/location of your event and he will make you the host of your own meetup event. \*\*\*\*\*\*As stated above, **anyone** in this group **can organize a "group meetup"**. If my "location" or our "Sundays" don't work for you, feel free to post your own meetup event. In the past, we had coffee/lunch meetups, so please don't think you have to limit your meetup as a "shooting event". BBQs, Gun Shows, Movie Nights, Reloading Parties, Hiking, Fishing, snowshoeing, gun rallies, self-defense classes....etc...whatever you want to do is fair game...as we all share one common interest..."Firearms". **\*\*Make sure** that you visit https://www.meetup.com/puget-sound-firearms-enthusiasts-rebooted-no-thanks-2-meetup/ **every 3 months** so you don't get dropped as an "inactive" member. \*\*\*\*\*\*Those of you who participate in our recreational outdoor shooting events, **remember**...**Woodsy The Owl**..."Give a hoot—don't pollute!" Let's all do what we can to keep our planet clean for the following generations to come. (Click on the link below)... About Annie's Song... The earth we all share is beautiful. It provides our food, the air we breathe and vast wonders to behold. It gives so much to each of us and requires only kindness in return. We hope you will be inspired as you take a visual tour of the earth while gliding on the melody of John Denver's classic "Annie's Song"...Our beautiful world. Pass It On. [https://www.passiton.com/inspirational-stories-tv-spots/122-annie-s-song](https://www.passiton.com/inspirational-stories-tv-spots/122-annie-s-song) The Brave One (PSFE Rebooted co-organizer)  Jeff (PSFE Rebooted organizer) = = = = = = = = = = Hello. My name is "The Brave One" and I'd like to welcome you personally to Puget Sound Firearms Enthusiasts Rebooted. Our group is simply guns, shooting, and anything else gun related. Please feel free to participate in meetups, suggest a meetup and participate in message board discussions as well. Whether it's an informal shooting match, a BBQ or even just getting together for a cup of coffee, I'm sure you'll find activities here that will suit you. If you would like to host your own meetup event, just contact my co-organizer (Jeff, the one with the Alaskan Malamute) with the date/time of your event and he will make you the host of your own meetup event. **PSFE membership dues** are currently **$1 a month** or $12 per year. This will help offset some of the costs that meetup charges. Meetup currently charges $98.94 for a 6 month subscription. See link below. https://www.meetup.com/puget-sound-firearms-enthusiasts-rebooted-no-thanks-2-meetup/money/ Your dues will go towards the follow 4 items listed below: 1. The 6 month meetup subscription fees. 2. Target/range supplies. 3. Maintaining our community medical trauma kit with fresh supplies/items. 4. Discounted classes/instructors/gear/and other items related to firearms/gun safety... which will be offered to all members within PSFE. = = = = = = Thank you for joining us and I hope to meet you soon. Sincerely, "The Brave One"

Seattle Area Monthly Camping - Share The Experience

Bothell, WA

Seattle Area Monthly Camping - Share The Experience

This group is a once a month camping trip to areas within a 3 hour drive from the Seattle Metro.

The emphasis is on campers who like to camp, hike, explore the local town, raft, or just hang around a campfire with a book with the option of joining others for loosely organized activities.

You are responsible for booking your own campsite or finding another member to share. Place a happy face at your site to identify yourself as a meetup group member. We will provide sturdy yellow paper plates and markers.

We don't schedule every minute as we are mature enough to make connections to do things and know how to be on our own when we choose.

The meetup is a campfire on Saturday. This leaves attendees to choose what they love to do best during the day. After attending your first meetup, you'll have the names down and the organizers can guide you as to who likes to do what during the day.

Everyone is responsible for their own safety. Please review and adhere to US Forest Service camping and wilderness safety rules http://www.fs.fed.us/recreation/safety/safety.shtml

By joining this group, you acknowledge you are responsible for your own safety and well being.

INHERENT RISK: Organizers carefully plan events and check public sources for weather, avalanche, and safety to the best of our ability. Conditions may change or reports may contain errors. Inherent natural hazards are associated with camping in the outdoors. Organizers do not accept any liability for accidents/injuries in connection with the activities published herein or on linked sites.

In consideration of right to participate in the activities offered by Seattle Area Monthly Camping - Share The Experience: Meetup Group, I agree to RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY Seattle Area Monthly Camping - Share The Experience: Meetup Group, its members and organizers from any and all liability: YOUR FULL NAME IS REQUIRED

NE/NW Side Ladies Social Meetup

Bothell, WA

NE/NW Side Ladies Social Meetup
This is a group for LADIES in their mid 30-50s in the Northeast/Northwest side of town to meet up, connect and do activities together. Whether it’s meet for coffee, a drink, a bite, a walk, go to the dog park, hang out outdoors or indoors, get some exercise or not, etc. (it’s definitely open for other activities) - just something casual to meet up and connect. When I ask friends how they know so many people, they usually say it’s through their kids. I love kids, but I don’t have any of my own. I do have a family, but also free time, and I’ve found living in the suburbs it’s challenging to meet positive, supportive, optimistic ladies who just want to meet up, chat, do things together and connect. This group is for ladies (whether you have kids or not), who are interested in making new connections/friendships. \*Please note the following information below\* 1\. This is a woman's social club and should not be used for any marketing activities\. 2\. Please have a current profile picture so we can easily find each other at events 3\. The purpose of this group is to have fun\, be social and to make new friends\. Please be respectful of other group members and the employees of places we have events\, and follow social norms \(i\.e\. manners\, respecting boundaries\, appropriate tipping\, etc\.\)\. If you are not respectful or make others feel uncomfortable\, it will need to be addressed\. 4\. You will need to prepay the event host for events that cost money\. I recommend using Venmo\, as that is very easy and free\. It is unfair for an event host to get stuck paying for someone that was a no show\. 5\. If you RSVP for an event\, please show up or cancel at least 24 hours in advance to give others on the waitlist some notice\. This is true especially when the number of attendees is limited and we have made a commitment to a venue as to the number of people coming \(for example\, a restaurant\)\, or we are holding a seat for you\. If you are on the waitlist\, please be checking meetup to see if you have been moved to the attending list \(if you have your notifications on\, it will notify you of the change\, but please also check back\)\. Of course\, sometimes things come up that cannot be planned for\, and that is 100% understandable\. However\, if this becomes a habit\, removal from the group may be an option\. 6\. It is important to be on time for events\. We understand that sometimes you may be running a few minutes late\. If you are going to be a little late \(up to 15 minutes\)\, message the event host and attendees\. However\, if you are more than 15 minutes late\, the event will start or the group will leave\, and you will not be able to be accommodated\. Unfortunately\, we have had some members show up very late\, which is unfair to the ladies who are there on time\. 7\. Please appreciate your Event Hosts for researching the event\, putting it together\, and hosting\. You can choose which events you want to go to and skip the ones that don't sound appealing to you\. Just make sure you are courteous with your RSVP\. Thanks!!! ☺️
