Outdoor activities groups near Woodinville, WA

We aim to help greater Chinese speaking populations in Seattle to start their own spiritual healing journeys. We will host fun events of different varieties such as astrology study, outdoor painting, indoor games, hiking, and trips. Before every single event, we will ensure everyone to feel safe and included through a special breathing exercise. You don’t need to be an extrovert to meet people.

There needs to be a community for 20 and 30 year olds who have settled in Kitsap to hang out, be active, and make friends. I plan to post mainly hiking events but I'll occasionally post other sporty and outdoor activities. Let me know if you're interested in helping me run events or if you have any ideas for locations and activities! Make sure to read through event information to prepare for hikes and to determine if you meet the suggested experience/fitness level. I am in my mid 30s looking to meet new people on the Eastside of Seattle to have a good time & learn our common interests. I may on occasion post something cool I find outside of those cities. Please note this is NOT just a Summer group. I’ll be posting indoor & outdoor events in the Fall like bowling, movies, meals, etc. These events will be really fun since you will have met so many people over the Summer. This group brings together active older adults for hikes, exploration and socialization in the Western Washington area. Trips depart from the Lynnwood Senior Center and transportation is provided from the center on 14 passenger buses. Come for hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking, foraging, and many more rotating activities. This group is primarily focused on participants ages 55 and up, but is open for all who would like to participate.

SOA hikes everywhere from cities to mountains to deserts. We go backpacking, biking, and climbing; ski and snowshoe, kayak, sail and swim, and in many other ways celebrate nature and the great outdoors. While exploring the Pacific Northwest is thrilling and restorative, we care about our delicate environments and promote Leave-No-Trace principles and good trail etiquette. We dance outside all year round in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood. We're in our fourth year of holding outdoor dance parties. ASIAN 2100 in its core is a neighbor gathering meetup group.  People with Asian background come together to create great ideas.  Although when we were living in our own countries, our culture/history background seemed very far apart.  When we immigrated to America, our culture differences became insignificant compared to local Americans.  If you are not Asian in ethnicity, as long as you are truly interested in Asian cultures, you are welcome to join. My name is Luke, I grow up in Taipei and I speak English and Mandarin.  I earned my Bs and Ms Degrees in aerospace engineering from UCLA in 2002.  I have worked as an engineer for many years.  Currently, I am concentrating on investment. We will have outdoor activities every weekend, include but not limited to hiking, (beginner level) mountain climbing whenever weather is fair.  The idea is to come to the indoor meetup first and get to know each other before going out together. The idea of ASIAN 2100 is sit down together and fully express ourselves with great or not so great ideas.  When I was eight, I was told that Taiwan was not my home, my true home was in a village I have never heard of in the northern part of Mainland China.  Although this eccentric idea seemed unacceptable for most people in Taiwan, it is the truth and the only truth.  I later learned that Baze Malbus was born and grown up in the same village as my ancestors.  After all, great people came from the same place. Chinese culture, language and politics will be one of the recurring theme throughout our future meetups.  It is summer time, so free soft drinks will be provided to every meetup event.  Please just come with your good spirits and ready to freely express yourselves.  We hope you are interested to know us and also let us to know you.
