North American Great Lakes Job Interview Skills Practice

North York, ON

Are you looking to practice your job interview skills but not know where to find more frequent help than once in a blue moon? You'll be pleased to know about North American Great Lakes Job Interview Skills Practice, which I've named after the relevant region ( https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Great_Lakes_Region_North_America.svg ) and to signify my having always lived in that region. Another perk is that signing up for events is optional. I have no problem helping you outside of organized events as well, and whether such help comes via official events or outside of them, it is FREE! How about that? The above said, anyone who DOES choose to sign up for an event must understand that this group, like the sports one that I run, has a no-show policy because to too many events in the past, members of various Meetup groups who have signed up for such events have NOT honoured them in large enough #s. I over a dozen times before founding the above group sent a video of an audio recording that I had once sent to a then-member of a Slavic languages Meetup group to double down to him on the importance that I'd placed on having put in place a no-show policy. I wanted him to understand, in no uncertain terms, that although it had given me no pleasure to put in place in that group (which I'd founded in the spring in 2018 but that no longer exists because I'd shut it down awhile ago) a no-show policy, it'd been because EVEN UP TO AND INCLUDING THAT POINT, far too many members of various Meetup groups that I'd founded or had otherwise gotten to run had, to too many events I'd hosted, no-showed to events to which they'd signed up. Please note that anyone who, until further notice (updates if any I plan to post under the "Discussions" tab), has: - no prior no-show, will have to sit out events to the end of the 12th month following such a no-show - a prior no-show, will have to sit out events to the end of the 24th month following such a no-show - 2 prior no-shows will have to leave the group and will NOT be eligible to join another among those that I founded

Building and selling your dream electronic devices and toys

Mississauga, ON

Building and selling your dream electronic devices and toys

Many of the inventors and engineers started electronics as hobby and later progressed into profession and big business. It takes strong desire to solve an existing problem or improve a process that eventually progresses into useful evolution, and the journey keeps marching into continuous improvement.
I have personally designed many useful products and written codes that help people in many different ways in the area of security, automation, medical, and wireless communication. My personal journey started when I was teen ager and I still find great joy from what I do not only as hobbyist but as professional designer as well. Your journey to the joy of building intelligent machines can start today so let me help you, motivate you, and guide you to the ultimate joy waiting for you to bring your best to our society. You will ultimately start building things, solve real problems, and invent new ways and processes that will make our life better and easier.

You are welcome to discus in this meeting your personal or existing projects and ideas as well we will discuss the following:

1. How to look for ideas and solutions.
2. Identifying the solution that will bring real value.
3. Early prototyping and tinkering – board drawing.
4. Getting started in building your idea.
5. Prototyping vs final product.
6. Testing your new product and validating your new process.
7. Learn how to set profit margins on win-win basis.
8. Continuous improvement and product life cycle.
9. Networking with the right people.
10. Taking care of yourself.

Let’s get together and have good time, socialize, have fun, and learn how to gain knowledge and capitalise on what we learned. Ultimately, we need to learn how to bring value to our society and solve real life problems. See you in the Lower Food Court of Square One near Starbucks coffee shop. Please look around for us in that area if it gets too crowded. We will have a sign on our table saying MNPD, meaning Mississauga New Product Development. Happy new product development to all.

Backstory

When I co-founded the KICKSTART Business Community in Malaysia in July 2012, we were aggressively looking for ways to build our community.

It's a scary thing for me to commit to new meet up group in Brampton, and while it might be scary or exciting or overwhelming for you to start a business, we invite you to join this community, look to add value, explore ways to start selling a service, product or idea and, ultimately, move forward with your dreams business, enterprise or project but mostly looking to SHOW UP, STEP UP and GIVE BACK.
