You can join this class if you are a complete beginner or if you have experience of Tai Chi or Chi Gung. I have 30yrs of learning with some of the top masters and teachers of Tai Chi in this country and abroad. I'm educated to degree level with teaching qualifications and many years of experience with sport, fitness and a wide range of physical therapies. My primary passion now is to share the knowledge and wisdom I have learnt during my tens of thousands of hours of learning and practicing Tai Chi and Chi Gung. The class will include two person exercises and meditation. When you join as a beginner you will have a full curriculum available that will help you develop to a high level of achievement, should you desire to do so. Initially the focus will be on supporting and enhancing health and well-being. Relaxing your body and quietening your mind. As you develop and learn to move in a relaxed way you will cultivate good posture, deepen your meditation and generate ease and vitality. The class will be light hearted and focused........two basics needed for good Tai Chi practice! The secrets of Tai Chi can take a long time to embody, but some of the benefits can be available immediately for most people. Let me know if you are interested in a beginners class Your first class will be a half price taster (£8), then you will follow a programme of development paid in ten week blocks (cost £160 for ten weeks). Since March 2024, I have been organising a regular stationery meet-up with like-minded fellow enthusiasts. I have been particularly inspired by the proliferation of stationery / journal clubs that occur in Asia and the USA, and believe that there is no reason why we could not attempt to re-create our own as well. I am hopeful that a few of us can get together on a regular basis to explore the rabbit hole of analogue tools, and indulge in our simple doodling and dabbling as hobbyists. Another bonus from these meet-ups would also be to make new memories and share screen-free moments away from our busy and full-on daily lives. These meet-ups would also be an incredibly fun way to unwind, share our ideas and and even our stash (we stickers-and-washi-tape hoarders would know all about that). WHERE AND WHEN TO MEET? I am in the St Albans (Hertfordshire) area, and we have been using the local St Albans Museum and Gallery courtroom café because it is spacious and flexible enough: we usually get together for 2 hours every second Saturday morning and fourth Sunday morning of each month. This is a low-commitment and relaxed group, as I want people to be able to drop in and out whenever their schedule permits. You are absolutely not required to attend every single session (but of course, I would love it if you can!). You may notice that we are tracking the number of sessions but this is because I am merely curious to see how long we have been running for, so please don't be put off or think that you might have missed out on anything when you come to the next session. We have a different mix of regulars and non-regulars each time and it keeps things fresh and dynamic. Welcome to the Social in St. Albans Millennials Meetup group! If you are new to St. Albans, have been here a while or are just looking to expand your circle and meet people your own age, please come along to our group. We're a friendly and active group aimed at bringing people in the millennial age range together for social events. Our meetups include pub trips and nights out, sport events, country walks, music events, etc - we would love to have your suggestions for events! There is an **annual fee of £5 per person** to be in this group, but this does not need to be paid until you have come to a couple of events, so you can make sure you like the group first. We are a fun, friendly badminton group who have been playing and socialising in the Slough area for over 20 years. We always welcome new members and our regular club night is on a Monday evening from 7.30pm - 9.30pm at the Herschel Sports Centre on Whitby Road in Slough.

Hello, My name is David and I am aiming to start up a hobby shop and cafe in the Ruislip/Eastcote area, I am looking for people who are interested in coming and meeting up to help discuss ideas and begin building a community to spread awareness for the future shop. We are looking to start by using rental accommodation, selling soft drinks and snacks as well as booster packs, starter kits and related items, we are also interested in setting up tornaments to help raise funds. That's were you will come in. I need your help with getting an understanding of tornament structures that will be both fun to play and challenging, also I would like to know if there are any tournaments already running in the area to avoid clashing with them. The games we will mainly be focusing on initially, is Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh and Warhammer.

Maidenhead Softball Club (MSC) is a mixed softball club based in Maidenhead and playing in the Windsor & Maidenhead Softball League. Formed in the late 90's from employees at a local technology firm the club has grown from a single team to a club with 3 mixed teams, one female team and 40 members ranging in age from 14 to over 50.

So if you are looking to get into a new, fun sporting activity. Softball is a fun social mixed team sport and can be played by anyone 14+. No experience necessary and no equipment required, Maidenhead Softball Club will provide the equipment and the coaching to help you get activity and enjoying Softball quickly.

What is softball?
Softball is a social and enjoyable sport that’s easy to learn and play, even for people who are not “athletes” or don’t have much experience of team sports – and the game offers particular opportunities for women.

It’s a lot like baseball in terms of the rules, but because the ball is pitched slowly to each batter (as the name implies!), it’s easy to hit the ball and succeed at the sport’s central skill. The fact that men and women play together in the same team and on an equal level gives the sport a social buzz, and most softball games are followed by sessions at the local pub!

Getting Involved
MSC runs weekly sessions on Friday evenings for anyone wishing to give the sport a go. The sessions vary in location and time depending on the season. During the Autumn and Winter it's at Newlands Girls School from 6pm, during Spring and Summer sessions run from 6:30pm at North Maidenhead Cricket Club.

Regular weekly Tag Rugby Matches on a Wednesday in Maidenhead at Burgess Park. The fun and friendly sessions are welcome for players 14 years or older (male & female). All under 18 participants must be accompanied by a guardian. Players of all sporting abilities and Rugby experience levels (Rugby League, Rugby Union, Touch Rugby etc) including complete Rugby novices are welcome!
