We are a Romford-based badminton club that has been running since the 1940s – some of our members have been playing at Wychelm BC for 40 years now! We provide five courts of social and competitive badminton every Monday, between 7.30pm and 9.30pm, with players of all ages among our ranks. Although we are an inclusive club, we are not a training facility and do not provide coaching, therefore we are not suitable for complete beginners who wish to learn to play badminton. For us, Wychelm BC is a weekly commitment to keep fit, make new friends and enjoy the sport that we all love!

We hold monthly meetings in the upstairs room at The Fountain in Cambridge.  We keep it informal and friendly, with a central talk on a varying theme each month.

We discuss new ideas, share tips on both coding and marketing our apps, and possibly argue the merits of iOS and Android, native and web!

 

Meetup with local photographers in the area, Apply to become a member, once accepted - Come to a Meetup to talk about camera's, all aspects of photography and Photoshop, swap tips and techniques, share your images, post them on the site for all to see and discuss.

All  levels of competancy are welcome to apply to join us.  New to photography/Photoshop, this could be a good start to move your hobby to the next level.

We are a small group of like-minded nerds who meet up weekly at the Drill pub. Our main (dungeons and dragons) event happens every two weeks where we share a huge group storytelling experience set in the town of pridewharf. Quests, adventures and... Pesto? Welcome to the Writtle Pickleball Meetup group! We are a community of adult Pickleball enthusiasts who gather regularly to play pickleball, a fun and exciting racquet sport similar to tennis. This is a private group and to be a member, firstly you have to be an active member of one of our other Meet-up Groups, and you have to agree to be an active member of this group, active means coming on all or most of the visits, the group will be limited to 12 members, so if I consider you to be non-active, I will remove you from the group so that another member can join us.

The aim of the group is to go out once a month for a days Landscaping, on occasions we will look at a weekend away, the plan is to go out regardless of the weather, if its raining we can all be prepared for it, and grab some of those Moody-landscape images we see.

1. We play weekly 5-on-5 basketball scrimmages at Comberton Sports & Arts Centre. Saturdays 10am-12noon. 2. For players from 18 to 95, men and women. Some basketball experience required. 3. We can accommodate 15 players max. Players always drop out throughout the week, so do enter even if you're number 16, 17 etc. 4. If you have to bail out after Friday 8pm, you are requested to take your name off the list and inform both the group and specifically the person who is first on the waiting list. (Contact the organiser if you are unable to do this). 5. Sessions cost £6.50, payable on the day. Please bring CASH or CONTACTLESS. 6. Please bring a white and a dark shirt (or reversible).

We have 4 badminton courts and use feather shuttles. We are a friendly and sociable club and are looking for new players who would like to play on a regular basis. Our sessions are 1.5 hours on a Tuesday and we start at 8 pm. As this is in the school sports hall we have secure and free on-site parking. £5 taster session, £8 thereafter. Welcome to Walthamstow Badminton Club, We are a new club running using 2 courts for 2hours playing with feathers shuttlecocks on Sundays at Leytonstone Community Sport Centre. All standards from basic beginners to intermediate and advance players are welcome to join and attend the a session. As many players who have not played for 6 months or more are welcome to attend just for the fun to a good exercise workout. Members may bring only guest to session once then the guest most decide to register on meetup to RSVP place to contine attending the sessions. Coaching will be available to players who wish to have training to improve their game on one court. 2 members can attend to be coached. Cost will be £12 for 1hour coaching then free to play other members in doubles in the second on both courts. There will be car parking space if you drive, no changing room available due to covid-19 rules. No changing courts from each group court. \ No sharing rackets between players. \ Wash hands regularly during playing and equipment too. \ Shuttlecocks shared on one court not between group courts. If you wish not to go by covid-19 rules by Badminton England then it's at your own rest. Your are responsible for your own well being.
