We are Cardiff Raptors Korfball Club! Korfball is the best sport you’ve never heard of. It is a fast-paced and dynamic game with similarities to basketball, netball, handball and rugby (no previous experience of these sports are necessary). Korfball is the only mixed-sex ball sport in the world and is inclusive and accessible to absolutely anybody. If you fancy getting fit, trying a new sport and meeting some brilliant people then please come along. No korfball experience is necessary, we have players ranging from beginners to international level within the club. Your first 3 sessions are free, so there is no excuse not to come and give it a go! Grab a pair of trainers and a water bottle and join us at training. Our current training schedule is: Monday: 20:00-22:00 Thursday: 19:00-22:00 Friday: 19:30-20:30 All located at Cardiff City House of Sport, Sports hall 2. We are a very sociable club, with club socials including cinema, bowling, lazer tag, nights out, crazy golf, BBQs, board game evenings and much more. We also have annual events including a Christmas social, end of season awards night and a trip to the Edinburgh International Korfball Tournament. Hi and welcome to 'Things To Do!' This group is for activities around Cardiff and the surrounding area, with walks, coffee's, regular meals priced to meet all pockets, special events and the odd sporting event thrown in too. Come along and meet new and old friends in a relaxed pleasant atmosphere. Attendance numbers for meals can be increased if there is a waitlist, and if the establishment can fit the request for extra places. **When joining the group, there is a membership fee of £4.00p for 6 months, or 12 months for the bargain price of £7.50p** 😉 Most dining events will require a £5 deposit to confirm your place, this charge will either be deducted from your bill at the end of the meal or returned to you in cash at the meal. The deposits will not be refunded if you fail to turn up, or your attendance is cancelled within 24hrs of the event, members on waitlists must be allowed time to book onto events, this is less likely if people book off on the day or day before. If you find you are unable to attend, then the deposit will be paid back to you, if someone on the waitlist for that event takes your place. This is also dependent on the restaurant requiring a deposit to confirm the booking. This group is for ages 30 to infinity. This is a group for anyone interested in the Great British Outdoors and Wilderness.

Anyone interested in Canyoning, Rock Climbing, Camping, Kayaking, Coasteering, Bouldering, etc is welcome to join.

All skill levels are welcome.

With over 10 years experience kayaking ...both myself and my guides are more than qualified to assist you in your quest to obtain more skills and experiences in the great outdoors.

On our sessions,Kayaks are provided along with all required kit too. The kayaks we use are the sit on top type... very stable, easy to use and confidence inspiring.

If you have a wetsuit or bouyancy aid, your more than welcome bring along with you. If you require either let me know sizes in advance and I will provide... at no extra cost.

We run regular kayaking sessions at Cardiff Bay, which is an ideal and safe environment for total beginners to this sport. Then there are more regular and challenging locations for those slightly more skilled or those looking for more of a challenge or an adrenaline rush, such as kayaking down faster rivers, along the coast exploring sea caves etc ... or even White Water Rafting.

Two of our favorite events... Coasteering & Canyoning or Gorge Walking.

Fast becoming one of the most popular, exciting and fun outdoor activities.Also known as Scrambling or Canyoning, this is an exciting way to discover stunning scenes of the countryside. A wet river walk, at one of the most picturesque waterfall regions in South Wales.

The best way of describing our activity is a river adventure . With our guides, you travel through a steep sided gorge following the course of the river by various ways and means. This can involve:-

Sliding down rapids, Swimming down rapids, Floating down fast flowing chutes, Climbing waterfall &Jumping off ledges into deep pools

Hello, We are the Henbury Badminton club. Our club gathers every Wednesday evening, rain or shine, at the Henbury Leisure Centre from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, all year-round. We are a small but friendly club. With our current membership ranging from 8 to 12 players over 2-courts, we are eagerly seeking new intermediate level members to join our ranks. Whether you're a seasoned player or possess a intermediate skill level, you'll find a welcoming atmosphere and like-minded individuals ready to engage in thrilling matches. We provide flexible payment options. You can choose to pay as you go £6.50 per session. Alternatively, you can opt for our quarterly payment plan, which offers a discounted rate. The main key-points to our payment policies are as follows: 1. **Payment Upon RSVP**: To address the challenge of managing no-shows, we kindly request all pay as you go members to make payments as soon as you RSVP to our events, or as you move from the waiting list to the attendee list. Your timely payments greatly contribute to the success of our gatherings and help maintain the integrity of our community. 2. **Payment Deadline**: Please ensure payment is made 24 hours before the scheduled event. Members who have not paid by this deadline will be automatically removed from the attendee list. 3. **Cancellation More Than 24 Hours Before the Event**: If you decide not to attend despite having already paid, and you notify us more than 24 hours in advance, no refund will be issued.
