Dublin Hiking & Social Events
(Looking for Hike Leaders to Organize Hikes. If interested please Send me a message. Thanks.) This Group has been set up in 2021 to help single people to enjoy Hiking outdoors, socialize, mingle and meet new people while keeping fit. It also helps people to make new friends and possibly starting meaningfull friendships with the opposite gender. Please only join this meetup if you like to socialize, communicate with other singles and others to contact and communicate with you. \- HIKING \- It is essential to have a proper Hiking Boots with a yellow tag VIBRAM non slip sole when you go hiking, especially in winter. A hiking boots is an investment in yourself😁. In Ireland it snows in winter. The higher 🏔 you hike, the more chance it can snow. Sometimes it is sunny🏖, but it also rains in Ireland🏞😀, sometimes it gets very windy, cold and it can be very muddy. So a hiking boots is essential!😀 Trust me!😁😁 A hiking boots with thick winter socks protects your feet and prevents most injuries in winter and summer. It is also essential to have waterproof warm winter clothing, spare clothing, especially spare gloves and spare socks, 2 medium plastic bags, a winter emergency survival bag, food, snacks and water. Sporting Events may cause injuries, so when attending a hike or any activity with this meetup group, every person is responsible for their own health and saftey. Hiking and activities helps people to keep Healthy and fit metally, physically and enjoy the outdoors, while it helps you to start work with a fresh mind like after a short holiday.😀 These Hikes are not guided hikes. It is the responsibility of each participant to have a suitable level of fitness and appropriate equipment. If you are unsure as to what is needed for hiking in winter there is more information in the following website: https://www.kerryclimbing.ie/winter-walking-gear-list/ (Note: For the hiking routes we take, only proper ankle-support non slip hiking boots are suitable usualy with a yellow spot brand at the bottom of the boots) Scuba diving is a sport also. So everyone is responsible for their own saftey for attending any activity on this meetup when you join this meetup.
