We are a club - not a business - of adults (single/married - all ages 21 & over) from the SF/Sacramento Nor Cal Area. We organize boating trips twice a month during the summer - all fees go toward covering the expenses of the outings. We ski, board and/or surf, and teach people who don't know how. Each person who attends a weekend event is assigned to a boat for the day & another for the next. The day is spent on the water soaking up the sun with new & old friends.

If you haven't attended an event before, reach out here or just come! We are a friendly bunch, and many members arrived for the first time knowing no-one. :)

Where do we do this?

We hold events at Orwood Resort near Discovery Bay/Brentwood and Lake McClure. We do easy car-camping overnight (both sites have showers and plenty of space), and spend the day on the water.

What do we do at night?

Friday/Saturday nights are for socializing & getting to know other members. The party is helped by "Shooterville", our donations driven bar, and Saturday in particular we have dinner, drinks, music. We often hang with a campfire at Orwood, and themed parties at the Lake.

This group represents 21+ co-ed, social sports community in the East Bay. We currently offer Adult Kickball and coming soon...CORNHOLE! CLUBWAKA is a great way to get out, stay active, meet new people, network and get involved in your community through social events, sports and charity. You can sign up individually or with a group. Teams range from 6-26 people depending on the sport, requiring minimums of each gender at all times. Game times vary, but are in evenings, usually between 6:00-9:00 pm. **THIS GROUP IS NOT ACCEPTING NEW MEMBERS.** This group is to organize people of all ages and skill levels who wish to play soccer on a regular basis. We play at Fallon Sports Park when possible. Games will be cancelled if we do not have at least 12 people RSVP'd for a game by 8pm the night before. Players are expected to be ready on the field immediately at the start of the game. Please bring both a white and black shirt. No shin guards are required. Cleats, turf shoes (with the small rubber nubs), and indoor flats are all acceptable. **This group is for friendly and safe soccer. Please refrain from making negative comments towards others (example: yelling at someone when they make a mistake).** Goal keepers will rotate every 7-8 minutes so that everyone plays at some point. Please be courteous and volunteer to play goalie instead of waiting until someone makes you play.

Walnut Creek Pickup Ultimate Frisbee (Beg. / Intermediate)

This is a Meetup for those interested in playing a friendly, co-ed Ultimate Frisbee game in Civic Park in Walnut Creek on Monday evenings, warm-up 5pm and start around 5:15/5:30pm- and Saturday mornings, warm-up 9:30 and start around 9:45/10:0am.

No previous experience with Ultimate Frisbee is required, but basic throwing and catching skills are appreciated (and folks are generally happy to help you if you ask, especially during warm up). <br>

Ultimate Frisbee is a non contact sport meaning no physical contact is allowed between players. <br>

We do most of our organizing on Facebook - so if you have found us here, and want to be sure to see the latest updates, go to: Walnut Creek Novice-Intermediate Ultimate Frisbee and join there as well.

Recommended items to bring: exercise clothes, cleats, both a light shirt and dark shirt (to switch teams as necessary), sunscreen, hydration, and first aid. Extra discs and cones are a plus, but we have enough.

RSVPs for those planning to attend (not those who regretfully cannot participate) are encouraged, as it helps us determine whether there are enough people to have a game, especially as some folk come from far awayto play, so please keep your status up to date.

Civic Park is a free public park, and space is not reserved. Though space is shared with other members of the public, we have not had trouble with games at this time.

Dues for this Meetup: We welcome contributions to help defray the small cost of Meetup. $5-20 to Jan when you see him. <br>
