This group is for anyone interested in motorcycles and motorcycle riding while also looking to hang out and fellowship with Christian riders. Though the majority of members are cruiser, touring/sport touring, and dual sport, ALL BIKE TYPES AND SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOME. We meet once a month for breakfast, short meeting and social ride on the Fourth Saturday of each month, and often support other groups' or shops' events in the North County San Diego or further away. We also have share events for the whole family with other local CMA chapters including night-outs, movies, dinner and pretty much anything else that looks like fun.

This is a group to help North County dads to make some new friends, and not just the husbands of your wife's friends. What will we do? I guess that depends on who joins!

Some ideas, but I'm open to suggestions :

This is not a scuba "club" or "group". It is a for-profit endeavor designed to get, and keep, scuba divers in the sport.

*Successful completion of a class indicates student is certified to dive under the same (or similar) conditions they were taught in.

We started this group originally in the North County area of San Diego and want to grow it to all of SD plus South Orange County as well to change the stigma of homeschooling just a little bit. I have met many parents who feel they have to fit into the typical mold of what society thinks a homeschooler is. Times have changed and a lot of people are finding out just how cool homeschooling their kids can be and have fun doing it. Some of the amazing families who wanted this group started are travelers, fitness buffs, CEO's, sports fanatics, professional shoppers, skaters, independent home schoolers, and surfers just to name several. Whether you're a more conventional homeschooler or just go with the flow, the one thing we all have in common is that we do it our way and give our children the best education and balanced life as possible.

We want this group to be about homeschoolers having fun, supporting & encouraging each other, and to open more social opportunities for parents and kids. Please leave the drama at home! The goal is to meet friends and establish bonds throughout the year making homeschooling the best experience we can. We like to think of ourselves as modern moms with cool kids and welcome all who want to have a fun homeschooling experience. We will be doing many different activities like play dates, field trips, park days, beach days, exercise buddies, MNO, book clubs, movies, parties, co-ops, camping, rock climbing, shopping, etc. We encourage all members to suggest and plan activities. Welcome to Encinitas Outdoor Fitness Meetup Group! We are a group of active individuals that love playing outside, hiking, surfing, skiing and biking. We host sport specific conditioning classes and cross-training to reduce injuries and improve performance.

Canicross is a mashup of the words “canine” and “cross country”, and is a team sport consisting of a person and dog running together. A canine athlete with his human teammate! 

CaniCross USA - San Diego Chapter provides local Dog Trail Running MeetUps, Canicross Training and connections to local companies that provide products and gear for your and your pup! 

Our Canicross Event MeetUps are for anyone interested in Canicross, Dog Trailrunning & Beach Running, Canicross Racing, Canicross Training, and everything & anything related to runners that race & run trails with their dogs. All skill levels are welcome.

We also encourage participation and membership in the United States Federation of Sleddog Sports - USFSS, a non-profit which is involved in all dog powered sports, and is the governing body for US Canicross sanctioned races, and the USFSS National Championship. USFSS, is also the selection body for sending, Athletes Team USA, to compete in World Championships races and the IFSS World Championships.

Come join us, as we're looking forward to developing & exploring the many facets of Canicross, Cani-Trail & Beach Running & Canicross Racing with San Diego's enthusiastic dog runners.

Equipment: Typically the person wears an especially designed waist belt which allows for "hands-free" running, the dog wears a specifically designed/custom-fit harness, and the two are joined by an elastic line that reduces shock to both the person and dog when the dog pulls. For long runs, a hydration pack is recommended for carrying water & nourishment, and other essentials for you & your dog.
