Meetup for anyone who want to get outside and play sports for fun, but doesn't have experience. There isn't any instruction offered or effort to get serious, mostly just want to have the opportunity for people to get together and play without worrying about having to be "good" at something to join. Life is for everyone.

This group represents 21+ co-ed, social sports community in the East Bay. We currently offer Adult Kickball and coming soon...CORNHOLE! CLUBWAKA is a great way to get out, stay active, meet new people, network and get involved in your community through social events, sports and charity. You can sign up individually or with a group. Teams range from 6-26 people depending on the sport, requiring minimums of each gender at all times. Game times vary, but are in evenings, usually between 6:00-9:00 pm. For field sports, we then go to our local partner bar afterward to continue the fun. We have great events throughout the season, too...including pub crawls, tournaments, charity events, vacations and much more! From personal experience, some of my fondest memories of meeting new people involve two things: 1) Sports, and 2) Food. This group is for people who want to meet new friends in the Alameda/Oakland area through sports and sharing food. There will be some food provided, but it would be a great opportunity for you to bring a dish to share with others! Show off your cooking abilities, share a cultural food experience with new acquaintances, all while enjoying the sunny outdoors by playing some casual, not-too-competitive sports :)

WingChun is a Chinese martial art and form of self-defense, originally developed in southern China approximately 300 years ago during the period of civil war that marked the transition between Ming and Qing Dynasties. It was synthesized as a compact form of Kung Fu to exploit weaknesses inherent in the other combat styles of their time and give an advantage to smaller fighters, who did not have the benefit of size and strength.  This system was well-guarded and quietly passed on to only a few, very dedicated students, then evolving as it was adopted into various groups.  Nowadays, it gained popularity all around the world through the Bruce Lee or through the Ip Man series of movies. The techniques of WingChun are very straight-forward, practical, and based on principles rather than displays of athleticism or power. Dances playing will be Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, V.Waltz, Quick-Step, ChaCha, Rumba, Swing, Bolero, Mambo, Samba, Night Club 2-Step, Hustle, WC Swing, Jitterbug, Merengue, Salsa, Bachata, Country 2-Step and many more. We shall play 90seconds of each style to allow for a 2nd round of each. Additional Classes we Offer; Tuesday's *Bachata* at **6.30PM** *Salsa* at **7.30PM** Wednesday's *WC Swing* at **7.30PM** We teach a Beginner Level and Intermediate/Advance level during all classes.
