PUG Sports Zone
Thanks for stopping by and checking out PUG (Pick Up Games) Sports Zone. While we play various sports, there is one common theme in every game we host; there are no set teams from week to week so a member who you were playing against one week could be your teammate the next. This helps foster an environment where we welcome anyone 18 or older who wants to play, whether experienced or just starting out, an environment where effort is valued over talent; all that we ask is that you give 100%. We're looking for people who like to compete but do not go overboard about it. Anyone who harps on other players inadequacies or has a negative attitude if the game doesn't go their way or is just a big jerk should pass us by because we will ask them to leave. Due to the cost of renting facilities and buying, maintaining equipment and insurance, we do charge for the events we post; $12.50 for Outdoor Soccer, and $10.50 for Volleyball. The schools we play at do not allow cash to exchange hands at the gyms or fields we rent so we have a online payment policy through Venmo. If you're interested in joining our group, please click the link below and review our message board which explains exactly how our group works (Payment Policy, Waitlist Policy, RSVP Policy, etc.): [https://www.meetup.com/PUGSports/messages/b...](https://www.meetup.com/PUGSports/messages/boards/) Failure to adhere to our policies could lead to your removal from an event (especially the Payment Policy) so it is your responsibility to review our message board. Email communication is very important in our group, therefore, please turn email notification ON. We hope to see you out on the court or pitch with us soon and please don’t be hesitant to contact Richard or Scott with any questions you may have.

RideOnCycling

Monrovia, CA

RideOnCycling
We are a group of recreational cycling enthusiasts based in Monrovia, California that is promoting the sport of non-competitive cycling. While on the road we adhere to cycling safety, treating each other with respect, observe the rules of the road and we don't leave anyone behind. When we are not on the roads we enjoy each others' company in a variety of social settings. We ride in the greater Southern California area and our rides range from 20 to 70 miles. We also do a variety of organized rides and charitable rides throughout the year. We accommodate all levels of riding experience and will help people to become better cyclists. **We do have one cardinal rule; HELMETs must be worn when riding with us.** As new members Meet-up will give you a 60 day trial period.  During this period you won't be asked to pay dues.  I suggest you NOT pay dues on-line because 1) they charge a 17.6% handling fee and at this time they are sending the rest of what's left to us.  Pay your dues, which are $5.00 per year to me directly when you ride with us! **Waiver and release** You are voluntarily participating in the events of ROC and agree to assume all risks associated with participating, including but not limited to, injury, illness, crashes and contact with other riders, weather, traffic and road conditions, all such risks being known to you, the rider. In consideration of your membership in this group, RideOnCycling (ROC), you release and hold harmless ROC, it's organizers, assistant organizers, ride leaders and other participants from all claims or liabilities arising out of participating in ROC events.
