Norwich Robotics Group

This is a group of local tech enthusiasts interested in working on the design, development and building of food production and hobby robots. Initial projects will include a 3-axis robotic Gopro camera gimbal and a lemonade making robot. Individual members are also encouraged to bring their own project ideas to the table.
Members will be involved with electronics, mechanical engineering, computer programming, software, art in design, logic, food preparation, and manufacturing, mechanical assembly and testing. Build days will be scheduled as needed. Meetings will be held every other Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm. at selected location. Whether you are a tech expert, hobbyist, or just want to watch and learn members of all ages and skill levels are welcome to RSVP.

We are a group of freedivers, spearfisherman, swimmers, and sport enthusiasts that hold “freediving pool training" events at the UCONN Avery Point Pool in Groton CT for fun and fitness. Bring your best fins. Freedivers of all levels are welcome to participate. Extra gear is available poolside for beginners. A calendar of events will be posted monthly.

Southeast Connecticut Underwater Hockey [www.seconnuwh.com](http://www.seconnuwh.com) We are a group of players that hold a weekly “pick-up game" at the UCONN Avery Point Pool in Groton CT every Sunday night. Doors open at 6:00pm Game time 6:30pm - 8:00pm Players of all levels are welcome to participate. Gloves and sticks are provided for beginners. The group was started in 1980 by navy divers led by Norm Tetrault. The group now consists of mostly recreational divers, spearfishermen, swimmers, and sport enthusiasts that find it to be a fun and effective way to stay in shape. SECONN UWH is not a competitive team. We come together every Sunday night to form an UWH "pick-up game" for fun and fitness. BHO Paddle Meet Up

Calling all paddle lovers! We are a full service paddle sport center that is located directly on the Great Island Estuary and the CT River Canoe and Kayak Trail. We provide provide open spaces, natural beauty, and open air activity for all ages to enjoy.

We offer a monthly Meetup where anyone who is a part of our group is welcome to launch and park for free, and anyone who doesn't have gear can purchase a rental to join in on the fun.

If you cannot make our monthly Meetup event, you can drop-in and park with us for a small fee. Call ahead to reserve your spot.

This is one of the premiere destinations in the entire Northeast and our fleet of canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddleboards are suited for fishing, open water touring, and recreational family fun. Wether you have your own gear, or need to rent- we would love to get a group together weekly to explore!
