This is the Underwater Hockey meetup group for western Connecticut. We would like to invite you to try underwater hockey, a fun a competitive sport. Try something different, get some exercise, learn something new. We are also starting to play Underwater Rugby Saturday afternoon at the Wallingford YMCA so look for those events. Because this group serves as one of the few spaces for gay and bisexual women of color, particularly feminine lesbians and bisexual women of color, to socialize free of the forces of racism, sexism, and homophobia, we ask that you do not apply if you are not a woman of color who identifies as a lesbian or bisexual.

CRITERIA: As criteria for membership, all applicants must include a headshot that clearly includes their faces in their profile pictures. All levels welcome! If you love soccer as much as I do come and join. We will try to play @Carmel Sports Center 8pm every Saturday and split the cost of the field when the game is over. Welcome to The New Trumbull/ Milford Pickup Soccer Group! Anyone and everyone is welcomed to join. All levels, shapes, sizes, and talents! We will try to help anyone who loves the sport find a group of people they feel comfortable playing with regularly. Regardless of if you’re a first timer or a seasoned player, come kick it with us! We just ask that everyone plays clean, and pickup behind yourself so no one ever has a reason to complain about our group. If you're a first timer, make sure your notifications are on. Most events are prescheduled but things may change. Outdoor is always free. Colder part of the year we do indoor sessions 2-3 times a week, cost is usually $10 per night. For indoor, please cancel at LEAST 2 hours in advance, so we can adjust teams or money accordingly. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Also, we have a FB page called Fairfield County Pickup Sccer where I post pictures and videos of pickup games from time to time. We are a group of beginner / intermediate rock climbing enthusiasts looking to learn and improve our rock climbing skills. We will be planning weekly outings indoors and out. We'll also be planning other group trips such as hiking, kayaking, backpacking, skiing, snowboarding, and all manner of outdoor adventure. Anyone interested in learning the basics of rock climbing should join this group, as well as those already involved in the sport who want another outlet and to improve their skills.
