The Sporting Club at the Bellevue Pickleball
Welcome to The Sporting Club at the Bellevue's Pickleball group! This is a private group for current and former members. The main purpose of this group is to give Sporting Club members a way to organize play at the club.  With so many available times to play throughout the week sometimes you just never know if anyone is playing.  I get it, and I think it’s a good “problem” to have.  Hopefully this Meetup group can help alleviate that and allow you all to communicate and see who’s playing.  Eventually we can find times to just allow Beginner play. Maybe even Advanced times too!   Some rules/etiquette/thoughts: -Court 1 is closest to entrance of hallway.  Court 2 is center court.  Court 3 is furthest away closer to the Golf Pavilion. -Whichever team is closest to the hallway serves first. -Games are to 11.  Would love to give incentive for winner’s to be able to stay on and play 2, then sit.  All new 4 then comes in. -No one should be playing more than 2 games in a row when others are waiting -That being said, if you just played a long competitive match, and 8 or 10+ people are waiting to play, instead of playing your 2nd match in a row because you won, do you sit and bring on a whole new 4?  Your call to make, but I think the “waiting” members would love that.  Remember you’re going to also be “waiting” at some point. -Please try to incorporate other members to switch up matches if possible. -Try and respectfully coincide with basketball members.  We’re all members of this great club and trying to utilize the courts as best as we can.  -We can’t make everyone happy, but I’d like to try. -Always know there are things you can be working on in your game, even if you end up “playing down” with lower skilled members.  Lower skilled members appreciate being able to play with higher skilled members because it helps them get better. -I’d like to get 2 permanent Beginner/Intermediate clinics on the schedule.  Only 1hr.  Members are loving it and more clinics! -Do we have interest in an Intermediate+/Advanced clinic?  It would mostly be focused on drilling, strategy, and advanced techniques.  I would name it "Drills and Skills". It has a nice ring to it! Let me know. -Dinking and Banging can both be exhilarating! -HAVE FUN!     That’s all I have for now. I’m open to your feedback and suggestions.  I appreciate you all for being here and playing this great sport we all love!   Sincerely, Arnold (your resident “do you need a 4th”) Director of Athletics PPR Certified Pickleball Instructor

Delco Ladies Social Group - 30s and 40s

Ridley Park, PA

Delco Ladies Social Group - 30s and 40s
This group is designed to help bring women together - to build new friendships, network, and go on social outings. Let’s share hobbies and create new ones! If you’re a woman around 30/40 years of age, looking for new friends, and want to find some events to get involved in, this is the group for you! Events will be primarily in the Delaware County area, but may occasionally be in surrounding areas as well. Activities will include happy hours, eating out, fitness, book clubs, game nights... anything is fair game - so feel free to suggest activities that you'd like to see! Looking forward to meeting you! ATTENDANCE POLICY - 48 HR RSVP One of the biggest stresses of any group is having an accurate RSVP count. In order to help mitigate this, I will be enacting a 48-hr mandatory response on events. Remember: we can’t make friends & have fun if we don’t show up! 1. If you can no longer make an event you RSVPed for, please update your RSVP no later than **48 hours prior to the event**. 2. Last minute cancellation: if something comes up less than 48 hours, please contact your host or post on the event message board that you can no longer attend. 3. If you have late cancellations to 2 events in a year, you will be removed from the group. 4. No contact/ no show: If you no-show to an event and do not contact the host or post a message, you will be removed from the group. I hope everyone understands the need for this, and ultimately that it gives people on the waitlist an opportunity to grab an open spot.

Western Suburbs Friends & Singles.

Havertown, PA

Western Suburbs Friends & Singles.
**NOTE: Canasta games have recently become an activity. Keep scrolling there is more than Canasta on the list.** **Who are we??? We are mostly single, but fun-loving couples are welcome as well. We just want to have fun and meet new people. We started playing canasta on a regular basis as well as continue to socialize at various events such as dinners, happy hours, movies, walks, etc. Since Canasta is weekly you need to keep scrolling events sometimes to see our other activities.** **Are you looking for a new crowd, have a couch potato for a partner, or entering the single scene again? All ages are welcome, but we are mostly over 40.**  **\*NOTE\*: *Our events are for members only*. There is no reason to fear coming alone. We will make you feel welcome. If you want to bring a friend please check with me first. If you are  part of a couple, your partner must join as well if they are interested in attending.  Our events include, but are not limited to, dining, movies, shopping, sports viewing, happy hours, charitable fund raisers, and anything you suggest that sounds good. Assistant organizers are always appreciated!** **If you click on past events, you will see how many attended and what they thought of the experience.** **Try us for a couple events, I am sure you will love us.** **We are fragrance free for health reasons. see below** **Some members are sensitive to the synthetic chemicals used in fragrances and would very much appreciate you refraining from using perfume, after shave, heavily scented lotions, hairspray, etc.*,when attending our events or the morning of our events.*** **This may seem a peculiar request, but it is very important and we hope you will accept it without judgement. Multiple Chemical Sensitivity affects around 14% of the population, and the only relief from it is to avoid exposure to synthetic fragrance and other synthetic chemicals. This group offers a welcome opportunity for those with MCS, to be able to go into public places without being exposed to fragrance.  Feel free to contact me with questions.** **Thanks so much!** **Here is a link to better understand the condition Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, MCS.** **[http://www.chemicalsensitivityfoundation.org/](http://www.chemicalsensitivityfoundation.org/)**
