*DISCLAIMER - some meetups posted will be fundraisers for my charity youth program called 'She Wins!'. I launched this in Orlando to get girls involved in sports. I have a mentoring program where we discuss various topics and then we introduce them to different sports. Through sports participation and having a forum to speak and discuss their curiosities, our girls will flourish, develop confidence and self-esteem and hopefully make smart life choices. In the past two decades, the ancient sport of Chinese Dragon Boating has proven effective in helping to restore upper body strength, range of motion, and in reducing the effects of lymphedema after breast cancer surgery. Teams have formed internationally to achieve physical and emotional strengthening and to compete in an exhilarating sport with other survivors. <br> <br>

Orlando Touch Rugby

A community of old, young (and some in the middle) of experienced, and newbie rugby players in the Orlando area who get together and play touch rugby on both Wednesdays from 5:30 pm (until light fails) and also on Sundays (our main get together) from 3:30-6:00 pm both at Blue Jacket Park (near Lake Baldwin), Orlando. Every couple of months we organize tournaments with the other touch rugby teams from all over Florida.
It is a great co-ed game and open to kids big enough to catch and run along with adults (so a fantastic family game), as size and strength is no advantage.
