Welcome to the Palm Beach Underwater Hockey Club!

Prepare to enjoy one of the most unusual, yet fun sports you'll ever find. The sport is loosely based on a combination of hockey, basketball, soccer and swimming but done while in a pool with snorkeling gear. Underwater Hockey is a global sport that ranges in competitiveness from local clubs to international competitions.

A fun event where people of all ages can play together at the same time. Play can be fast or slowed down depending on the skill level of the club players.

Come on out to the pool and see what we are all about. We normally meet on Tuesdays and at Aquacrest pool from 6:30pm to 7:30 Saturdays about mid mornings.

Welcome to the Palm Beach Ocean Adventure “Meetup” Group, the ultimate community for ocean enthusiasts and water sport lovers! As a member, you'll have the privilege of joining us on our brand new flagship vessel, the Saxdor 320 GTO Adventure Boat. Our group is open to anyone aged 21 and older who shares a passion for the ocean, water sports, and exploration. We thrive on adventure boating, swimming, paddleboarding, snorkeling, and dining at all of the waterside restaurants in the area, all of which form the core of our activities. However, it's important to note that each adventure is unique and can be influenced by various tidal, oceanic, and atmospheric conditions. Boating is our means of reaching the best spots for our activities, whether it's traversing intercoastal and coastal waters or embarking on sightseeing tours between cities. If we're fortunate enough to encounter dolphins and sea turtles, we'll eagerly follow them, making the most of the captivating experience. We also love visiting sandbars and islands, allowing us to wade in the crystal-clear waters and snorkel during high tide. Swimming is an exhilarating part of our adventures. You can take the plunge into the great blue when the boat is anchored and the engine is off, but please consult with the captain beforehand. Since ocean swimming can be physically demanding, it's crucial to be confident in your swimming ability. If you're not an experienced ocean swimmer, you must request or accept a life jacket or a USCG approved personal flotation device from the Captain. Paddle-boarding is another fun activity that we engage in. If you haven't tried it before, this is your chance! However, keep in mind that you should be able to paddle-board in calm waters such as in the inter-coastal or estuaries before attempting it in the ocean. Prior to using one of our onboard paddle-boards, please inform the captain about your paddle-boarding abilities. For snorkeling, it's expected that everyone brings their own equipment. We recommend having a diving mask, snorkel, and fins for ocean snorkeling. A dry snorkel, which doesn't allow water inside, is particularly beneficial. Feel free to use your preferred equipment, but don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Please remember that we are not professional guides or instructors, but a group of outdoor enthusiasts seeking a good time on the water. We help and support each other whenever possible. By participating in any of our events, you assume full responsibility for your personal health, safety, and equipment. Ensure you are physically and mentally prepared for the activity and have suitable gear. If at anytime you have any questions, please reach out to us, and we'll be glad to assist you. We strongly encourage all members to suggest activities, and we welcome organizers from other groups who wish to collaborate or help us plan events. Additionally, if you're interested in hosting an event for our group, we warmly welcome your input! As a member, we expect your participation and willingness to lend a hand when needed, whether it's during boarding, underway, docking, anchoring, handling water toys, or demonstrating snorkeling and paddle-boarding techniques. Punctuality is essential for the success of our adventures. Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the scheduled departure time, allowing you to park, gather your belongings, and meet us on time at the dock. The boat will not wait for more than 5 minutes beyond the designated departure time, so please be prompt. To conserve space and weight onboard, we request that you travel light. Each member is allowed to bring only one small carry-on item containing essential items such as a beach towel, cotton long sleeve, dry shorts/pants, wallet/purse, phone, and sunscreen. Only flip-flops or water shoes are allowed on board. Shoes, sneakers, and hard bottom sandals are not permitted on the deck of the boat. Before stepping aboard, please ensure that your feet, flip-flops, or water shoes are clean by rinsing them in the water. This helps maintain the pristine condition of the boat's deck, which will be freshly cleaned for your arrival. Courtesy towards your fellow adventurers is of utmost importance. Remember that you'll be sharing the boat with others, so please be respectful, considerate, and mindful at all times. The captain reserves the right to address any inappropriate behavior and may cancel your passage if conduct does not meet the expected standards. Such cancellation will result in automatic removal from the group. Lastly, we greatly appreciate donations from our members to help cover the high costs associated with running this meetup. Welcome to Jupiter New in Town.  As many of you know… our awesome host Lisa is stepping out of hosting events.  **Many many many thanks to Lisa and her boyfriend for running this club for the past few years.**   Myself (Rich O) ... along with my fellow members of the Jupiter Cycling Group will do our best to keep this tradition alive.  **We hope to have a HH soon and add a few different types of events in the fall… so stay tuned.** We are a Social Group for folks who are new to the Jupiter area. All are welcome... even if you are not "new" but returning to town or maybe you're a new empty nester rediscovering town. We encourage anyone who is new to town to consider joining a sports meetup...this is one of the best ways to find your tribe!! We plan on having leaders of sport meetup groups such as Cycling, Hiking, Kayaking and more attend events to share information. A few Tips: Can't make an event ? No explanations needed... just change your RSVP so we can give the venue an approximate headcount. Be respectful and kind to others. Aloha! Are you interested in trying the fastest growing water sport in the world? Are you already an avid stand up paddle boarder? Regardless of your skill level, please join us for fun, fitness and adventure on the Intracoastal, local lakes and ocean environments in and around Palm Beach, Martin & Saint Lucie Counties. For those who are new to the sport, we offer Fabulous First Timer meetups where you can learn how to stand up paddle board in a safe, flat water environment with an ACA certified SUP instructor. Don't be fooled by imitators. I've been paddleboarding for 17 years when paddleboarding was just starting to catch on with the locals in Hawaii. This meetup is now 10 years old! I've taught over 6,000 folks to stand up paddleboard during that time. My goal continues to be for my paddlers to have fun on the wate, learn a new skill in a safe environment. We offer paddleboard rentals at very reasonable prices. We paddle from North Palm Beach County up to Fort Pierce in St. Lucie County. These areas give us lots of opportunities for great paddling. And don't forget paddlesurfing and ocean paddling at any number of locations along the Treasure Coast & South Florids coastlines! Racing and paddleboard yoga meetups round out some of the many experiences you can have on a stand up paddleboard while meeting new friends! Come paddle and explore the amazing water environments in Palm Beach County through Martin County and into St. Lucie County while becoming more fit and connecting with new friends that share your passion for paddleboarding! BTW, we appreciate watermen and waterwomen from all of the other paddlesports. If you or a friend wants to join us in a kayak or canoe or one-man outrigger, it's not problem. This club is for people who enjoy bicycle riding. Various people post rides; fast, slow, long, short, on road, off road, locally and somewhere else. Our leaders are simply inviting you to join them on their adventure. They are not taking responsibility for you. In most cases, they are not bicycle experts, but rather bike enthusiasts. If anyone chooses to attend any of our rides, you are doing so at your own risk and agree you are taking full responsibility for your well being. In many cases, a rider might agree to "sweep" (ride at the end in case anyone has some issues). That said, with or without a sweep, you still could find yourself alone. Some of our ride leaders know how to fix flats and could be feeling generous enough to help you if you should have a problem, but if you're not ___ at changing flats, you might ultimate have to find your way back to your car. None of what's written above is intended to scare you or keep you from joining us, but instead is meant to give your the realities. Occasionally, biicycle accidents in all kinds of places, and for all kinds of reasons, happen. If you are riding with our group, you are accepting full responsibility for anything that could possibly go wrong. Rest assured, we're a lovely group of riders and in most cases, you would find many of us offering to assist, and wondering and worrying where you are if we realize you're not with us. That said, we cannot take any legal responsibility for your well being. Further, we strongly recommend anyone who chooses to ride with us, do so wearing a helmet. Many of us have witnessed accidents where people have hit their heads. Had they not been wearing helmets, there's no telling how much worse it could have been. It's traumatic to see someone get injured so we respectfully ask that you wear a helmet. We also recommend that you bring extra tubes in case you get a flat, enough water (it's easy before it gets hot to underestimate how dehydrated we could get), some food (for a boost of energy, and because who doesn't like food!), your cell phone (in case you should experience a problem, you can call someone for help). We also ask them you seriously consider your abilities before you sign up for a ride. If it's posted at mph or distance that seems challenging to you, please do not RSVP until you're more sure of your current abilities. We ask that people respect the rules of the road/trails. Communicate with those behind your (stopping, slowing), point if there's debris, use the right and turn signals with your arms or voice. are simply posting rides that they plan to go on...on and off road, all levels of riders. Everyone is welcome. If you are just starting out and want to enjoy the sport with other like minded people, this is the place. This group is for the very beginner up to the mega extreme rider. We post all types of different rides, and break up into groups when appropriate. We appreciate our event leaders because we recognize the planning and hosting takes time and effort. We want to be able to offer a variety of activities so we need all the volunteer leaders we can get! :) All we ask is that you know the route and provide adequate details, ie: the time and place the ride begins, a brief description of the ride, the approximate distance and speed you would like to ride, and what to bring (snack, spare tube, etc). Be clever and adventurous. Also, if another meetup has an event that is similar in nature to our events, feel free to also advertise it on our meetup. We're all about bringing people, riders and the community together.

Welcome to Low Key Weekend Social Club! This is a group of 40+ chill people interested in low-key social activities from Boynton to West Palm Beach. Activities include mostly in-person events such as game nights, local concerns, museum outings, dinner and conversation, volunteer events, paint nights, movie nights, theatre or plays, bowling nights, movie watch parties, or garden tours.
