I am currently the leader of Pack 114 Special Scouts. This is made up of boys, girls, men and women with special needs. Nobody ages out of the program and all are welcome. Forsyth County allows us to use an indoor heated pool with a meeting space for our scouts, as well as great use of county facilities such as campgrounds and nature centers. The “moai” concept originates from the blue zones region of Okinawa, Japan. The term means “meeting for a common purpose,” which is most likely for shared hobbies or interests.
