This group is designed to build each other up and help each other navigate the mental and behavioral health system for our children teens and young adults. We focus a lot on parental self-care, avoiding burnout, sharing knowledge and information about the school, mental behavioral Health system, DCF, DMH DDS ECT. while we use the word parent this group is opened anyone who is supporting a child's teen or young adult with mental or behavioral health struggles. No matter how big or small.

Let's get together, enjoy some food, conversation and work on our knitting and crocheting projects. We can help each other with the projects, or just enjoy socializing with others who enjoy this hobby.

There you will meet new people, play some of the latest designer board games and unwind in an easygoing atmosphere. Have a specific game you want to play? My friends and I love meeting new people. A group of us go to downtown Springfield on Friday nights for poetry, art, and live music at Artists Cafe. It's a great way to connect with people and feel part of the community. Would love to have new people join us. Want to explore more arts stuff in Amherst and Northampton too. We also want to do karaoke (there's a place 7 nights a week in Chicopee), ice skating, movies, game nights, watch sports. I also love deep discussions, maybe will organize philosophy/bible discussions. Our group is mostly singles, but anyone is welcome. I think many of us have an artsy side of us, that goes dormant with the demands of life. But tapping into that creative within can really do wonders for the soul.
