OPWWEE Urban Fishing Meetup Group

Operation Waterway Environmental Education OPWWEE Urban Fishing is the new name, under my nonprofit organization, OMOLMentoring.org, teaching, mentoring participants on all facets of fishing (fly fishing, freshwater, saltwater: deep drop, troll, chunk, slow pitch jigging, vertical jigging, and live lining). This group is open to youth, men, & woman, especially black & brown minorities. Regardless of fishing experience you will be exposed to the outdoors, learn how to catch dinner, study the environment, assist in maintaining the marine habitats, clean up parks and streams, plant sea grasses on beaches, restoration of oyster beds, and have fun. Most of our trips will be 4-5 people, fishing piers for beginners, to boats, kayaks, to Stand Up Paddleboards (SUP) for more advanced. \*\*Optional excursions- Sport Fishing Charter boats, fee are associated. We will fish from New Hampshire to Florida, Louisiana, San Diego, to Alaska. Payment plans are arrangeable if interested in charter boat fishing leave a comment.

Meet ups are informal open garden self tours, with a member or two there to answer questions. It's a great summer outing - you'll be amazed by all the colors and sizes and patterns of daylilies.
