You've come to the right place! We DMV Weekend Road Trippers are men and women with a passion for exploration and sightseeing. We are lovers remote landmarks and overlooked treasures. We're here to see all the natural landmarks and historic sites we can find, anywhere in a weekend travel radius around the DMV area. Most importantly, we're all about sharing the travel experience with each other, making new friends, and chilling together after a long weekend adventure. Events posted here will be short 1-3 day trips from the coastal DMV to anywhere we can get to and enjoy in that time frame. Some events may require external booking or charges, depending on what we're doing, but the group will never charge for an event; this group is not a business, and where possible the goal will be to do things cheap and enjoy things money can't buy. This group is meant to be accessible to people who want to meet new people and explore new places without spending crazy amounts of time or money. Carpooling can be organized among members where possible to help make event even more accessible. Most road trips will be planned around natural landmarks or wilderness activities, such as camping, backpacking, hiking, kayaking, etc., though some may not be. New road trip tips and ideas are always appreciated. Exploration is a team sport! As with many groups of this nature, there is potentially an element of risk inherently involved in physical activities. Couples, singles and families are welcome to attend square dance lessons hosted by the club and children are allowed if accompanied by an adult. Beginner dances are held every 6-8 weeks while lessons are running to give new dancers a chance to put into practice what they are learning. OPWWEE Urban Fishing Meetup Group

Operation Waterway Environmental Education OPWWEE Urban Fishing is the new name, under my nonprofit organization, OMOLMentoring.org, teaching, mentoring participants on all facets of fishing (fly fishing, freshwater, saltwater: deep drop, troll, chunk, slow pitch jigging, vertical jigging, and live lining). This group is open to youth, men, & woman, especially black & brown minorities. Regardless of fishing experience you will be exposed to the outdoors, learn how to catch dinner, study the environment, assist in maintaining the marine habitats, clean up parks and streams, plant sea grasses on beaches, restoration of oyster beds, and have fun. Most of our trips will be 4-5 people, fishing piers for beginners, to boats, kayaks, to Stand Up Paddleboards (SUP) for more advanced. \*\*Optional excursions- Sport Fishing Charter boats, fee are associated. When you are a Lightworker your higher-self and soul KNOW you are, whether your conscious mind realizes it (yet) or not. Lightworkers, Star Seeds, Earth Angels etc feel a sense of purpose, a compulsion to help others and have a genuine love of the world and all it encompasses. They naturally attract people in need of help, and are innately sensitive to the needs of others. At times they may feel overwhelmed by others' energies as they are so sensitive. Lightworkers are aware that there is something important that they are destined to do during their lifetime. Although they may not be sure of what that may entail, they know within that they will be shown and guided in divine right time. For some there may be a sense of urgency, as though there is so much to do, but not enough time to do it all. Follow this urge and get on with it! The main soul or life purpose of Lightworkers is to extend and send out divine love and healing. Radiating this healing light and energy naturally brings peace and love wherever they go. All that a Lightworker does is done with divine unconditional love. If you aspire to be a spiritual teacher, life coach, author, speaker, healer or any other spiritual facilitator, the most necessary ingredient is that divine spark of love infused with and into your work. Players of various skill levels will play on a court together, primarily in a 6v6 format and some Competitive level 4s, 3s, 2s but may vary depending on the number of players in attendance or availability of the sand courts. Please RSVP to events you want to attend and follow through. This is a very noticeable pattern and unfortunately takes opportunities away from other members. 5.) Communication is key. If you cannot make events, let hosts know in advance. We understand things happen but if a pattern emerges, you may be removed from the group. 6.) Where payments are concerned for group events: If you pay for an event and cancel, if we've paid in advance we may not be able to work out a refund for you. If you pre-pay for a group outing and the establishment cancels the event and the company doesnt offer us a refund, we will not be able to offer refunds. Please make sure to understand that if booking is required in advance, refunds may not be possible. 7.) Removal from the group will be based on no shows, rude behavior, and/or inactive member status.
