When people think "nerds" they picture what they think are weirdos with no social lives or friends who spend all their free time in a dark room playing Fortnite or pondering their D&D characters hobbies! While.. some of that might be true.. (my elf loves a good hunting expedition in the swamp...) it's mostly bologna! Let's get out and do some fun stuff together! We'll get together for happy hours, fun events that pop up and whatever we can think of!

We have 3500 plus participants play sport leagues 4 seasons a year! If you don't have a full team we can place you on a team. Full team, small group and individual registration is available.

Bags, Bowling, Basketball, Tennis, Softball, Euchre, Dodgeball, Kickball, Soccer, Flag Football, Indoor and Sand VB are available throughout the year.

This is a SINGLES group for the 40'S and early 50's.I believe that it is easier to meet someone in a smaller group situation.We will be doing some events with a limit of EIGHT participants and some with a larger number of participants. We will be doing dining events,sporting events,outdoor events,movies,concerts etc.

We're just people who like to have fun and meet new faces. We do all kinds of things from sports to bar-hopping to arcades. It's laid back, has cool people, and encourages you to get off your butt and move around.

We are a 420-friendly group or you can call us a friendly 420 group - either way works. We get together and enjoy what nature has so graciously allotted for our special brain receptors. Then we discuss the big ideas of the day, play music, dance, recite poetry, listen to heady lectures or just hang out until whenever. 

If you're up to joining a new group (but unlike any of the other 288 you're a member of), then join this eclectic little group. We are very selective - only one in a hundred makes it. You'll see why once you read the rules: 

Rule #1.  No conservatives - Who the hell wants to hang out with conservatives?

Rule #2. No sports fanatics - Intelligent people don't get excited about sports.

Rule #3. No religious nuts - For reasons evident even to a not-so-precocious 5th grader.

Those are the only qualifications. The rest should request membership in this iconic group, because once we hit 420 members - no more. 

What to expect from this group? 

Don't expect anything - just like when you were born to your parents. 

But we might change the world. 

All this world needs is a bunch of smart people to get together, latch some THC to the cannabinoid receptors in their brains  , and then watch them go. 

That is the premise and promise of this group.

If you wish to grow your photography business and career, ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers) is the organization for you. We are the local Michigan chapter of ASMP. Our focus is the business of photography. If you publish your work for media (traditional or online), commercial or business use, join our group and attend our events. We offer regular social and guest speaker events to sport your knowledge of the photography business. Meet other professional photographers, develop professional relationships and build your support network. Event locations vary around Detoit and Michigan. Students are welcome.

In hopes that consumers will choose a more compassionate way of life, S.M.A.R.T. educates the public on the many cruelties animals suffer. This includes, but is not entirely limited to animals who are:

- used for food/factory farms
- used for fur
- used in vivisection or who are researched upon
- used for sport or entertainment

You'll notice that in each of those scenarios, the common word is 'used.'

Animals deserve better.

Because they cannot speak, does not mean they cannot feel, so we must be their voice. Please consider joining and speaking out on behalf of animals everywhere. This group is for young people (20's & 30's) looking for a little somethin' on the weekends other than the usual grind. This is also a shout out to all of you who are new in town and are looking to meet people! So! Let's get together once a week and enjoy the "scene" here in the fabulous Metro Detroit area. Activities include outings to bars and restaurants, witty banter (if we're lucky), concerts, community events, and the occasional house party. <br>

Friendly Guidelines for Acceptance into the Group: <br> <br>1. Photo: please make sure your profile pic is a clear photo of you! That way we can recognize you at events. <br> <br>2. Profile Questions: Nothing fancy, keep it brief but informative! You really do have to fill them out before we accept you into the group. Pro tip: it says spots, not sports. <br> <br>Guidelines for Weekenders: <br> <br>1. You are responsible for yourself and your guests! We expect you and your guests to behave like responsible adults. Mind your P's and Q's, be nice and respectful to the other members, don't unload all your problems onto people just trying to have a good time, don't pressure others to do things they don't want to, etc. If there are any complaints, you'll be kicked out. :) <br> <br>2. This isn't a dating group! If you end up meeting someone you really fancy in the group, that's great. But this isn't a singles group or online dating site; our number one purpose is to make lasting friendships! If you're making other people uncomfortable with unwanted come-ons, you will be asked to leave the group. So.. don't be that guy or girl. <br> <br>3. Be courteous to your host and update your rsvp's: if something comes up and you can't make it, no worries! Just change your rsvp to "not going" so we aren't waiting for you for the festivities to begin. Excessive no-shows of "yes" rsvp-ers may be removed from the group at the organizers disgression. <br> <br> 4.
