Reno Action Sports: Outdoor Climbing Group

This is a varied outdoor rock climbing group for people of all levels who just want to have fun. Basically, we will choose a crag. Show up, lead, follow, or top rope. You will need shoes and a harness to participate. Bring your own gear for setting up leads and top ropes. I will always have easy to moderate climbs planned for myself. I am willing to follow more difficult climbs. I trend toward trad climbing but am open to sport crags as well. If you want to have fun, meet some climbing partners, or develop your skills while making friends; check us out. Not pressure to participate just by joining.

Since the summer of 2021, we've grown into a substantial group of enthusiastic picklers. I’m lucky to know so many fun players, many of whom I consider my friends. I have organized meetups at Reno Tennis Center at Plumas, Cyan Park, Burgess Park, Oppio, Hidden Valley, and Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Depending on the time of year, the calendar will reflect some or all of these locations. I do NOT require players to RSVP to play! Simply show up at any time during any session when it's convenient for you, and you are welcome to join in the fun! Please be aware that Meetup shows me as the host for every single event, but just like you, I attend meetups when my schedule permits. I send you information about Pickleball events and activities in Northern Nevada! So many fun things are happening in our Reno community, and you need to be the first to know! In 2024, I promoted the first ever GOAT pickleball kickoff for the Super bowl in Las Vegas! Anyone could sign up to play--though space was limited. Hall of Famers attended the GOAT event! Yeah, baby!
