We are a group of single, separated, widowed and divorced, beautiful women (45-60yrs). Let’s get together for affordable and fun activities as we explore this next phase in our lives while making meaningful connections.

Strong emphasis on safety and learning about your Sport Bike. Creating a network of help and camaraderie between fellow members . I want everyone to have a great time. \ \ A majority of this group uses Sena helmet communication systems. The easiest way to join in to our chat is to have a Sena unit that has Mesh technology. Having a Sena is highly recommended for this group. It allows us to pass information down the line of bikes that could be crucial to your ride. They are not required but highly recommended. Also, the pecking order. This group rides in order of skill level. We don't want slow riders in mid pack, keeping faster riders behind them at a slower pace than normal.

This group is for kayak and paddle board owners aged 20-49 across Long Island. We will get together and take advantage of all that water surrounding us. Events will mostly take place in flat water locations so all skill levels are welcome.

We will not charge a membership fee. Please be courteous to other members and update your RSVP timely. Repeated no-shows will result in removal from the group.

Welcome to Tabletop Games of Long Island! My name is Frank and I’m looking to get new people to this hobby while also meeting fellow gamers from the area. This meetup is dedicated to all types of tabletop games and board games, card games, and even war games. Feel free to bring your own games as well. The meetup will be at Miller’s Ale House in Lake Grove, NY and requires a purchase of at least an appetizer. Looking forward to seeing you all!

The idea is to organize group rides on and off Long island.  Nothing better than to enjoy the freedom that MTB brings to our lives.  

TCMTB is for riders who are both experienced or just starting out. It is open to all  who enjoy the sport.  Please get familiar with  Policy and Liability Waiver found on the discussion board. This is also a good time to take a look around the site and check out our past rides and activities(when available). If you agree to our policy, and want to be part of this group.  All I ask is that you participate in at least two rides per calendar year and help post or help with ideas on events we can post.

It's for people who are creatures of the city, with all its diversity, possibilities, opportunities, and excitement. To be sure, we will make excursions into the city--and that includes Queens and Brooklyn as well as Manhattan...and let's not forget the Bronx and Staten Island as well. However, we will get together here on Long Island too, in the interest of promoting convenience and encouraging inclusion by people whose budgets may not allow them to take trips to the city as frequently as they'd like. The point of this group is as much to allow meeting, forming friendships, and having fellowship with others whose hearts belong in the city, as it is to take trips into the city for all that it offers. Examples of trips to the city might include entertainment/cultural outings, intellectual pursuits, and social justice and human rights entreaties. There will be options to suit most anyone! We might attend an improv comedy night with the Upright Citizens Brigade, attend the Museum of Modern Art, join a march or demonstration to promote social justice, human rights, or other progressive cause, walk along the Highline Park and visit a brewpub or vegetarian eatery, frolic or picnic in Central Park or in Brooklyn, attend professional sporting event, or take a tip from Time Out New York, the Village Voice, the New York Press, the Indypendent, the NY Times, the NY Daily News, or some other suggestion source. Long Island events may include a potluck, movie outing, dining option, winery tour, dance night in Huntington or some other locale, etc., with tips taken from the LI Press, Newsday, News 12 LI, Long Island Pulse Magazine, and other sources. The options are endless, but linking them all are progressive-minded people open to try new things. Our homes and travels may be on LI, but our hearts and minds belong to NYC, wandering from Greenwhich Village to the Lower East Side to Brooklyn and beyond!

Long Island Riders Group was founded for riders interested in sharing their passion for the sport of motorcycling. Have you traveled to NYC on a bike? Want to have lunch in New Paltz? How about camping in Lake Placid? Or how about a great ride on Long Island to a new place or an old favorite? L.I.R.G. wants to bring together riders who share a passion for exploring life, meeting new friends, and navigating the world on two wheels. Motorcycling is not just about the bikes. Matted Memories Event Group will host a variety of events geared to bringing our local community together in our new storefront facility located in Oakdale. We host community thank you events such as free photos with Santa, free pet portrait days, wine & design ladies night, VIP shopping events, as well as specific interest events, such as professional athlete meet & greets, signings, sports talks, as well as, business networking and business development forums and more. Our focus is to bring our community together and celebrate life's moments and create and showcase the positive things going on in our neighborhood. We welcome everyone to attend our variety of events, it will allow attendees to engage with other like-minded community members and engage in some fun and interactive events. Each event will have specific activities and goals. Some events are strictly focused on allowing us a platform to meet our new community and others are focused on business building & networking.

SCFC will be hosting CO-ED pickup soccer and Mens Pickup soccer at various locations and fields throughout Long Island. Long Island Paddlers (www.lipaddlers.org) exists to share a common love for kayaking, canoeing and the outdoors.  We exchange information on safety, education, paddling experiences and other paddling-related subjects. Join our club to meet fellow paddlers, find places to paddle, and learn how to safely enjoy the waters in and around the Long Island area. Our club is open to all who would like to participate in this sport.  We are active all year, both on the water and at our meetings with various programs and guest speakers.
