Newly single? New to town? Want social connection, but have no hobbies? Well, you’ve come to the right place. I am newly single after almost 20 years, bored, and have no hobbies (unless dancing, sunbathing and/or reading People Magazine count as hobbies). I'd like to create a community of likeminded people who too have no hobbies but want to have some fun. All are welcome (unless you shame us for having no hobbies), but this group will be geared toward the 40 and up crowd as we are largely ignored when it comes to social events. My thought is that members alternate creating events, however, once we have a sufficient response, I will create the first two or three.

Let's get together once a month, mid-week (Wednesday is Hump Day) and dedicate time to nurture ourselves and honor our creative spirits while meeting new friends. Events will be free, and held in public venues.  Men -- don't be shy -- you're encouraged to come express your creative selves as well! Plan to Bring:   Whatever tools or materials you need for your quilting, scrap booking, painting, beadwork, sewing, knitting, stained glass, drawing, ceramics, basket weaving, needlepoint, whittling, wood burning, or any other fanciful project The focus is on taking time off to nurture yourself and honoring your creative spirit, so here are the rules: * No work, no younguns, no commitments or obligations, no stress! * Friends are welcome if they’d like to join in (but should register individually) * There's no obligation to attend every time

Looking for people in PDX who are interested in skiing and snowboarding. I thought it would be cool for all of us lone wolf skiers/snowboards to put together a pack and hit the slopes. We'll mainly be heading to Timberline, Mt. Hood Meadows, and Ski Bowl. There will be opportunities for more aggressive trips down to Mt. Bachelor or up to Crystal Mountain or White Pass in Washington. I'm also interested in cross country skiing, snow tubing, and any other activities that people seem interested in.

Oregon Masters Lacrosse League is a volunteer run not-for-profit organization intended to provide Masters level lacrosse in the Portland metro area by providing organized semi-competitive Lacrosse to veteran adult, (35 plus), men & women players that want to play both outdoors and indoors. We play to honor the sport of lacrosse, to stay active and remain relevant as coaches and teachers in the lacrosse community.

The purpose of this group is to socialize and make new friends in the Lake Oswego area for adults ages 20's-40's. This is a group to promote the sport of jugger in the Portland area. Jugger is mix of fencing, rugby, and the pugil sticks from American Gladiator.
