This group is for people that are into electronics, microcontrollers, robotics and the like. Whether you’re an expert or just getting into DIY electronics from Arduino controllers to Zener diodes, join us and meet with others such as yourself to show off your projects, learn a skill or just hang out while others solder their projects. We typically meet at ChattLab Makerspace that offers lots of soldering equipment and other cool tools and knowledgeable people. ChattLab membership is not required to attend these meetings.

Welcome to the Chattanooga Dragon Boat Club. This group is for anyone who has a passion for dragon boat racing, watersports, or simply enjoys being out on the water. Whether you're a seasoned paddler or a beginner looking to learn more about this exciting sport, this is the place for you. Join us for regular meetups, team practices, and local races as we come together to improve our paddling skills, build camaraderie, and have a great time on the beautiful Tennessee River. A group for those interested in climbing and related activities. All skill levels welcome. We started this group to meet other outdoor enthusiasts and rock climb...join us for a session sometime!

If you are a first timer, this is a great opportunity to learn safety practices and all the moves getting started climbing.

The more advanced events may frequently involve a variety of sport and/or traditional outdoor climbing at one of the many climbing destinations around the area, and may extend to weekend camping/climbing trips. There's something for everyone, no matter what your skill level!

Have you ever met anyone that says, "I can't dance?" How about "I can't draw?" The CIA Society is a diverse group of creative people that enjoy listening to music, dancing, and making live drawings that will change your mind about both hobbies giving you the confidence to do both. In the end our meetup is not about how well you dance, or how well you draw but about the chance to spend a little time with new or old people in your community and learn from each other. We call ourselves the Constitutional Integrity Arts Society, and document our work to our URL, CIASociety.org that is applying for a501 C3 non-profit corporation. Our community embraces everyone. It is ok if think you can't dance, or do not draw well, please visit us for an evening of enjoyment and learning as you miraculously excel at both dancing and drawing. All you need is confidence and a little practice. Join us, we believe you will have fun. We have too many successful meetups up and down the East Coast with plans to expand to the West coast. The reason we call ourselves the Constitutional Integrity Arts Society is because our primary goal is train Americans to be talented dancers and visual artists that respect the United States Constitution. The importance of art in its relation to the US Constitution is immense. However, if you ask most local and celebrated artists today, they may not necessarily feel respected by their government or communities. Like learning how to dance and draw at the same time we feel the CIA society can change the commonly accepted views on society to one placing the artist at the center of community and good communication with both government and their communities.

The Chattanooga Adventure and Activities Group is Chattanooga's social activities group.

We are interested in anything and everything and try to arrange a wide variety of activities including paintball, bowling, comedy nights, cookouts, horseback riding, zip line, attending concerts/gigs, kayaking, camping, dancing, skating, playing board/card games, outdoor sports, dinners and much, much more. There's something here for everyone.

Our members come from every background imaginable and are some of the nicest, most friendly people you will find in the area. We love to meet new people and welcome them into our group of friends.

Our group will only thrive and grow with participation, so we are always open to your thoughts and suggestions. If you have an idea for an activity, click on 'Discussions' at the top of the page and start a new topic on the Message Board. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to suggest an activity, even if you have just joined! Organizers are always watching the discussion board and will do their best to turn suggestions into meetups.
