This is an 18+ group for anyone that currently plays or wants to learn Magic: The Gathering (MTG). We'll meet up at one of the several board game stores just north of Dallas, typically on weekends. I'll have practice decks for any beginners, and we'll probably also play budget commander or any other format that the group is interested in.

We're a group of DFW residents who share a passion for Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Paddling. Our goal is to improve our paddling skills and athleticism, promote the sport and the Hawaiian culture throughout Texas, and share aloha with everyone we interact with. Anyone with a great, can-do attitude who is interested in trying out the modern version of one of the most ancient water sports should come check us out. No previous experience required. We practice 3 times a week and participate in a number of races throughout the year. \*Weak swimmers required to wear a life vest. All guests must sign a waiver.

We provide kayak rentals to anyone looking to join us. If you have your own kayak, bring it on out and enjoy the water with us! We will surely have some paddlers out here to kayak alongside with you. Bring your friends and family and come visit the beautiful Rockledge Park. There are shaded pavilions, BBQ grills and scenic views for your friends and family to sit back, relax and enjoy the lake while you join us on the kayaks.

Taking the Good News of Jesus Christ to the Streets

This group is for my brothers and sisters in Christ who want to come together to pray, learn, and go into the community to share the Good News of Christ. We are a para-church ministry open to anyone who wants to join us in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We evangelize predominantly on the streets of our respective communities and we occasionally meet together for training and equipping those who share our passion for reaching lost souls.  

We will be meeting to pray for our neighbors and to to encourage and equip group members to deliver a clear presentation of the Gospel. We will be laboring together to take the Gospel door-to-door, to local sporting and community events, to public parks and train stations, to malls and even to churches. Of course, there will be potlucks too......Lord willing.

The Par-Tee Girls are a self-administered Golf Play Group for members of The Nelson Golf & Sports Club. Group Goal: To be kind and inclusive (ALL levels welcome) to all lady golfers with the pure intent of having fun, making friends, while improving our golf game. We encourage our members to be welcoming and leave their USGA “Guide to the Rules of Golf” at home on casual Play Days. Many of our members are also members of the Women’s Golf Association and maintain a handicap. Establishment of a handicap is encouraged by the Par-Tee Girls but is not a requirement. The Par-Tee Girl Golf Group events include daily tee times on Mondays through Saturdays and two tournaments a year. Also those that are WGA members should consider signing up for the WGA Wednesday Play Days and the WGA Tournaments which are included within the The Nelson Golf & Sports Club Golf Calendar.

Mission Statement:

TXSR is committed to safe and respectful riding at all levels of experience. Members must display a high level of character, and be willing to share their knowledge with less experienced riders who also have a passion for riding. Ride Your Own Ride!

Rider Code of Conduct:

Texas Sport Bike Riders is a network of Meet Up groups dedicated to provide a local community for serious performance riding enthusiasts and to share their passion with others and mentor (give back) to the community by passing along their skills to new riders. The basic Rider Code of Conduct for Texas Sportbike Riders is as follows:

1. Texas Sportbike Riders is organized by servant leaders who give their time and talent to provide safe rides, safe meet and greets, take time to plan and attend events, and mentor others to do the same.

2. “Pay it forward” principles demonstrated by the leadership and emulated by all members. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” means to help out your fellow riders as you would like them to help you in time of need.

3. Riders must understand and respect that Sportbike Riding safely takes time, training, and skill.

4. Performance (spirited) rides must be under control and not pose a threat to the general public.

5. Helping New Riders achieve their dream to ride by providing sound mentoring and frequent “New Rider” rides.

6. Safety Minded culture “AGATT – All Gear all the Time”; “Ride your own Ride”; “The Street is no place to Race”; “No Stunt Zone”

7. “Don’t be a fool, go to School” – Encourage Sportbike Members to gain new skills, sharpen existing skills, and push their limits at a Motorcycle School and not on the streets.

8. This Rider Code of Conduct cannot be changed, amended, or in any way modified except by a majority vote of the Leadership Team after initial publication.
