Bezeugen Ministries

Carrollton, TX

Bezeugen Ministries

Taking the Good News of Jesus Christ to the Streets

This group is for my brothers and sisters in Christ who want to come together to pray, learn, and go into the community to share the Good News of Christ. We are a para-church ministry open to anyone who wants to join us in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We evangelize predominantly on the streets of our respective communities and we occasionally meet together for training and equipping those who share our passion for reaching lost souls.

We will be meeting to pray for our neighbors and to to encourage and equip group members to deliver a clear presentation of the Gospel. We will be laboring together to take the Gospel door-to-door, to local sporting and community events, to public parks and train stations, to malls and even to churches. Of course, there will be potlucks too......Lord willing.

Mission Statement

Equip and encourage believers in Jesus to share the Gospel.</br>

What We Believe

• The Bible is the inerrant inspired Word of God

• All men are sinners, separated from God by violating His law (the Ten Commandments), are deserving of eternal punishment in Hell and cannot save themselves.

• Jesus Christ, God’s son and true God, having become true man, lived, suffered and died for the sins of all people, that we need not remain separated from God.

• Whoever repents of his sin and accepts by faith, Jesus Christ as savior has forgiveness of sin and life eternal.

• Therefore each person is saved from eternal separation from God only by the grace of God himself, through faith in Jesus Christ.

• In response to this loving gift of God, Christians will strive to live Holy lives as the fruit of their faith and together with their fellow Christians in the church will serve God and do his work – including telling others the Good News!

"...And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others, i but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives." - Jude 1:22,23<br>

Frisco Area Board Games

Frisco, TX

Frisco Area Board Games
This group is for people in the Frisco/Little Elm/Plano area to enjoy the hobby of board gaming together! This group was made for casual players and hobbyists. Our group tends to be in their 20's and 30's but certainly not a restriction. The more the merrier! Our games fall into 3 categories: * Light/Social (<1 hr, low complexity) * Goldilocks/Medium (<2 hrs, <3 Complexity on BoardGameGeek.com) * Heavy (Usually we would create a specific event to play this game. If you have a heavy game, consider becoming an Event Organizer) Games we will play will include different game mechanics such as Hand Management, Card Drafting, Bidding, Bluffing, Deception, Deduction, Set Collection, Dice, Unique Character Powers, Voting, Discussion, Guessing, and more! Some games will be played competitively and some cooperatively! *Costs of the Group* There are no costs to join the group or attend Meetups. The costs of the Meetup are covered by your organizers. *Support the Group* There are two ways you can support the group: 1. Donation Money - A donation box is available at most events. 2. Writing a comment/review/rating of what you liked about the group. This motivates us, event organizers, to continue making Meetups. *Event Organizer* If our events aren't scratching your board gaming itch, ask the organizer to make you an event. Got a new game? Host an event! Designed a new game? Beta-test event! Manage a local business? Host the event at your place! Bored? Impromptu event! *Important Reminder* RSVPs are extremely important and attendance is taken at most events. This is because the number of players greatly affects which games are brought and played. Please keep your RSVPs accurate and avoid last-minute changes. I reserve the right to change the rules of the group at a later time period if needed. *Code of conduct:* * Everyone should foster an inviting, friendly atmosphere. * Treat game components with care. * Be respectful to the owners of our meetup location. Repeated violation of the code, will result in the ban of the offender.

Frisco. Food. Dance. Couples.

Frisco, TX

Frisco. Food. Dance. Couples.
This is a group for fun, positive couples (age 30s through 50s) who live in or near Frisco and are interested in socializing, dining out, partying, playing, dancing, fun adult games, open conversations, and making new friends. **About Us** We, Jennifer and Bob, are an open-minded, newlywed (July 2014) couple who recently moved to a new home in Frisco.  Jennifer is a 4th grade elementary school teacher and Bob works for a large Silicon Valley software company.  Jennifer has two children, a son 16 and a daughter 11, who both live with us.  Bob also has two children; a married son with two very small children who lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan and a married daughter who lives nearby in Flower Mound. Jennifer has lived in the greater Dallas area all her life and has a beautiful Texas accent to prove it.  Bob moved from the cold winters of Kalamazoo, Michigan to the sun and warmth of the Dallas area in 2011. On the weekends we enjoy going out to dinner, dancing, partying, playing, and having fun.  We occasionally attend sporting events (we're Cowboys season ticket holders), music concerts (recent ones include Katy Perry, George Strait, Pink, Jimmy Buffet, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Steely Dan, and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra), opera, and Broadway shows. **About You** We are looking for fun, positive, like-minded professional couples (age 30s through 50s) with similar interests who are also seeking to make new friends to join our group.  And even though Frisco is in the group name, anyone from our surrounding communities (e.g., McKinney, Plano, Allen, Prosper, Grapevine, Carrollton, The Colony, Addison, and Dallas) is welcome to join. Our hope is for this group to serve as a spring board for both you and us toward making new friends. **Meetup Events** We plan to host one event every three to four weeks on either a Friday or Saturday evening.   Each event will typically include cocktails and dinner at a fun restaurant in the area followed by dancing (for those interested) to the music of the 70s through today at a nearby nightclub. Additional event ideas we will pursue include ... (1) attending major (or minor) league sporting events, comedy clubs, or concerts, (2) Sunday brunch, (3) inviting members of the group to our home for drinks, BBQ, pool (billiards), and naughty adult games, (4) organized participation in a local charity or social event, and (5) celebrating New Years' Eve at the Dallas Inter-Continental Hotel with the Emerald City Band and several hundred other revelers (this past 2015 NYE was our fourth year in a row at this very fun evening). We will additionally welcome other group members to provide their own ideas for events as well. Our favorite restaurants in the area include Artin's, Perry's Steakhouse, Capital Grille, Jaspers, Seasons 52, Gloria's, Kenny's Burger Joint, Gordon Biersch, Roy's, Del Frisco's Grille, Stampede 66, Macaroni Grill, Carrabba's, PF Changs, Best Thai, and Henry's Tavern.  Our favorite nightclubs for drinking & dancing include Grover's Grill, Samba 360, Blue Martini, and Glass Cactus. **You Are Encouraged To Join The Group & Attend Our Events** If you think you would be a good fit for our group and the description of the group and our activities interests you, we encourage you to join and make this your group.  Before being approved as a group member we request you (1) have a current photo posted in your profile and (2) respond to five simple questions about yourselves and your mutual interests. **Fees** You will **not** be required to pay any dues or fees to join this group. Our only request is you pay your own way for drinks, meals, tickets, and other venue/event fees. **RSVP Rules** We request members to observe the following two rules regarding meetup events. > (1) Please don't RSVP "Yes" if it's unlikely you will be able to attend. > (2) Please don't cancel at the last minute without a reason. > **Fun Times Ahead** > Should you decide to join, we look forward to many fun times together. > > > Bob & Jennifer
