DC Underwater sports (rugby and hockey) are open coed sports. We teach and practice swimming underwater using basic snorkeling gear. We welcome all recreational and professional swimmers, free divers and divers of all levels, ages, and backgrounds. Underwater rugby and hockey are truly 3D sports that will challenge your body and mind, teach you new swimming skills, and provide opportunities for new friends, travel and adventures. FXA Sports is Northern VA's (VA/MD/DC) Largest (and Best) Co-ed, Men's, Women's Adult Sports League with over 68,000 players, 145 Leagues & 19 sports. We offer team, small group and individual registrations for our Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter seasons. To keep competition evenly matched, FXA offers several different divisions (Social, Casual, Competitive, & Elite) for teams and players ranging in skill levels. All games are officiated by qualified and experienced referees & umpires and played mainly on Turf Fields lined for each sport. After the games, our Sponsor Bars provide beer and food specials for teams to socialize and meet other players. Our Adult Sports League also offers events, parties, corporate event planning, and social activities throughout the season for players to have some fun off the field.

Join us for Dungeons and Dragons Adventurers League in the Reston-Herndon area! **We play in person at Huzzah Hobbies in Ashburn.** All games are run using 5th Edition Adventurers League organized-play rules. No prior Dungeons or Adventurers League knowledge or experience are required! Becoming a member in our Discord and accepting our Code of Conduct is required for play at all of our events. You must join and accept the Discord rules before signing up to any MeetUp events. These rules include but are not limited to: 1. Assigning your name and pronouns as your server nickname; 2. Confirming your age as 18 or older; 3. Participating in a respectful environment for both our AL DMs and your fellow players. If you do not join the Discord and accept these rules prior to signing up for an event, you may be removed from the MeetUp event or be required to join the Discord and agree to the Code of Conduct at the game table prior to playing.

About Us: We are a group of [underwater hockey](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underwater_hockey) players in the Northern Virginia / DC / Maryland area. We get together to play underwater hockey, make new friends, stay in shape, and hangout. Right now we have one practice session a week on Thursdays, but if we can get more people we would love to expand to two days a week. Who should join: If you love swimming, snorkeling, or team sports you should come join us! Dues and fees: For new people trying out the sport or the club, the first practice is free. After that there is a yearly $30 registration fee to the national underwater hockey organization, which pays for insurance. Then we have local club fees that pay for our pool time and shared replacement gear. There is a 'pay as you go' option of $10 per practice. Or a yearly option of $355. Sprouts is a gardening club for anyone interested in plants, gardening and horticulture! Let's nurture our collective love of gardening, share knowledge, participate in seed and plant swaps, exchange ideas, and generally have fun with our shared hobby. I currently grow dahlias, veggies, and herbs; I've fiddled around with houseplants, with raised-bed gardening, and landscape plants. I'm continuing to learn how to be a better gardener and would love to grow a community of like-minded people to share my plants, learn from, and have fun together. :)

Our group is about being physically and socially active. Our active events regularly include hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, tubing, rafting, snow skiing, volunteering, dancing and trying new sports. Our cultural events may include museums, embassy visits, concerts, and theater, or perhaps catching a game. Most of our events conclude with an optional visit to a restaurant, winery, brewery, or outdoor picnic area where we can relax, unwind, socialize while continuing to have a good time. This is group is for Co-Ed pickup soccer and watch parties in the Fairfax County area - mostly Vienna, Tysons, Falls Church, Annandale, Fairfax, Centreville. We strongly prefer all members to be 18+ but will allows teens 15+ to play if they have an older sibling, parent or other relative also playing. No aggressive gameplay is allowed. This includes slide tackles, punches, elbowing, body slams, headlocks, stomping, etc. One warning will be given and then if it happens again, you’ll be banned from the group. We also don’t tolerate excessive foul language. We have a zero tolerance policy for racism and other slurs. You’ll be banned on the spot for that! Please inform your guests of these group standards. If we have to ban more than one guest of yours, you’ll permanently lose guest privileges. Most of our watch parties will be @ local sports bars and rarely at someone's house.
