What we’re about
The Finding Meaning in Nature group is for outdoor lovers who want to form a deeper connection to our environment.
We will host easy to moderate hikes and activities in the CVNP and Metroparks, combined with pre-reading assignments on a variety of relevant subjects that we can discuss together during our events. Topics can include local history, field biology, environmental issues, philosophy, poetry or anything else the group desires! We will also carve out time for personal journaling to reflect on and enhance our individual journey to find meaning in nature while building a community together.
The premise for this group is based on a popular writing course at Cornell University by the same name.
