About the Esquire Theatre
The Esquire Theatre, a cherished neighborhood gem in Cincinnati's Clifton Gaslight District, has a rich history dating back to its origins as the Clifton Opera House in 1911. Over the years, it has evolved from a silent film venue to a six-screen art house known for showcasing independent, foreign, and documentary films, as well as cult classics and local filmmaker events.About The Rocket Horror Picture Show
The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a cult classic musical that has captivated audiences since its release in 1975. Directed by Jim Sharman and starring Tim Curry as the iconic Dr. Frank-N-Furter, the film follows a newly engaged couple, Brad and Janet, who stumble upon a mysterious castle filled with eccentric characters. The movie is a wild, campy celebration of self-expression, blending horror, comedy, and rock music in a way that invites audience participation like no other film.
