Michelle is a board certified Physician Assistant by trade with a passion for blending western medicine with science based holistic modalities. She completed a residency in emergency medicine at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical center and has 14 years of combined experience in emergency medicine and pain management. After noticing the incredible effects of sound meditation on her own well being, she then underwent a formal sound healing practitioner training with The Sound Healing Academy and has studied under well known practitioners in the industry in both Austin and LA.
Michelle has examined the studies documenting the positive effects of sound on mood, brainwave entrainment, PTSD, physical pain, and the sympathetic nervous system. Equipped with this knowledge, she is passionate about sharing an immersive and transformative experience where healing can occur, inviting you to show up with an open mind, heart, and a readiness to relax into a deeper state of wellness.
After the sound bath session, engage in heartfelt conversations with fellow attendees, sharing your experiences and insights from the transformative sound bath.
Please bring your own mat and blanket/pillow if possible, there are a limited amount available to borrow. The cost is $33, if you would like financial assistance you can email james@yerbana.com for scholarship opportunities or volunteer exchange. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
