What we’re about

What is a Forest Therapy Walk ? This is a slow walk in nature, usually 2 kms or less, that engages all our senses. Forest Therapy, sometimes known as "Forest Bathing" (Shinrin yoku) is a wellness practice with proven health benefits. Studies show that when we spend two hours in nature in a sequence of invitations such as those led by a certified Forest Therapy guide that there are measured health benefits such as an increased immune system (NK cells increase), lowered blood pressure, anxiety and depression are lessened, and overall well being increases.
