This group is for those who want to skip the small talk and dive right into something deeper. If you're not content to just talk about the weather and crave substantial, thoughtful, and engaging conversations in a friendly, welcoming in-person forum, this is your meetup.
As a starting point for each gathering, members will be invited to read an article, book, listen to a podcast, or watch a video or other media. Our conversation starters will cover a wide range of subjects, including philosophy, metaphysics, psychology, spirituality, consciousness, emerging technology, self-empowerment, as well as culture, society, and social issues. We also explore topics like myth, pop culture, and other forms of storytelling.
Join us for engaging conversations on meaningful matters, and connect with a thoughtful community. No one is expected to be an expert on any topic, and we don't expect the conversation to stay strictly "on-script" for the duration of any gathering.
Note what this group is NOT about: sales pitches, proselytizing, hooking up, adversarial arguments, culture wars, hate speech or any form of bigotry, or general bad behavior.
