Welcome to Frederick Code & Coffee! 💻☕
Code & Coffee is your local space to code, network, and make friends in the local coding community. It started as one person's attempt to recreate some pre-covid magic from other C&Cs in the DMV, and evolved into it's own thing. We are officially a part of the Code & Coffee network. You can learn about us at our website, or through our Discord.
We don't have a structure here like at some of the larger C&Cs, but we encourage you to bring your own. Some people have come through searching for talent. Others have come just to commiserate about their rough projects or jobs. Still more just come to spend some time with other programmers in the area and get to know the community a little better.
We're exploring options for future programming, so if you have something you want to share, please ask the organizer to get it scheduled!
Who is it for? 🧑💻❓
This is a group for coders, IT professionals, product managers, hobbyists, managers, and the list goes on. This isn't just a coding meetup, it's for networking, and making connections. This is a place for anyone in the tech world to meet in a relaxed environment.
Code & Coffee is governed by a National Code of Conduct. We expect you to abide by these rules at all times.
We are explicit in that we welcome all people from all walks of life, but do not welcome any intolerance. If your walk of life involves breaking any of the above rules, then the organizer retains the right to ask you to leave and ban you from future events. Mutual tolerance is a social contract, and if you don't agree to the terms of the contract, then you are not covered by it.
This is not a group to bring your non-tech-related issues to. This is also not a group that is interested in buying or investing in your products or services. Please leave the pitch deck at home!
