What we’re about
We are a sociable group of people who like to be outside. We started as a hiking group but have evolved to skiers, snowboarders, hikers/backpackers, cyclists, paddlers, climbers, and general outdoor enthusiasts who are of the adventurous sort with a penchant for spending time outdoors doing outdoorsy things. Some of those things are in remote wilderness, some are in national or state parks, some are in fancy resorts.
The group started in 2006 with the idea of bringing together Fredericksburg-area locals who are interested in spending more time enjoying nature's playground in fellowship. Whether you're new to the area and looking for an intro to what the region has to offer or a hardcore outdoorsman, we would love to have you!
