What we’re about
WHO SHOULD JOIN
English-speaking freelancers, remote workers, solo- or micro-entrepreneurs, digital nomads, and other location-independent professionals making Prague their home for a few weeks or a lifetime. If you work from home, from cafes, or from a coworking space, and you'd like to connect with similar folks, this meetup group is for you.
LANGUAGE
English
MEETUP LOCATIONS
Many of our meetups take place at Locus Workspace, an English-language coworking space comprised of location-independent professionals from around the world.
We also meet at pubs anywhere else in or near Prague where the meetup group memebers would like to organize an event!WHAT ARE THE MEETUP TOPICS
We'll organize meetups on any topic connected to the life of a location-independent professional or a digital nomad, whether those events are about professional development, work productivity, or just getting together and having fun. On the first Wednesday of each month we organize a "Hump Day" (Wednesday) pub night, and on the first Friday we host a Jelly (a meetup to simply work alongside other location-independent professionals for the day).
WHO ORGANIZES THE MEETUPS
Any members of the meetup group are welcome to suggest events and as long as three or more members join the event, it'll be scheduled. If you'd like to organize events for the group on a regular basis, just let us know and we'll make you an event organizer. The only requirement is that the events are not paid, promotional events to sell a product or service.
Locus Workspace or its members organize the monthly pub night and Jelly (free, open day of coworking).
