Welcome to the Stockholm Badminton Meetup! We are excited to bring together badminton enthusiasts from around the city to enjoy the game, meet new people and improve their skills. Whether you're a beginner just looking to learn the basics or an experienced player looking for a challenge, we welcome all skill levels to join us. We'll be meeting regularly at Frescati Sports Centre, where you can expect to find friendly and supportive players who are passionate about badminton. So come join us to have fun, work up a sweat and make new friends!

We play at mixed levels. Most players are around intermediate level. Sometimes, we have advanced players and occasionally beginners. We balance the players during the game so everyone can have fun (Satu will arrange the players and the courts).
We play with the plastic shuttle. If you are playing with feathers, you can bring your own feather shuttle. Most of us would not mind playing with feathers.

MATCH FEE
The match fee is 100 sek per person for court rent and shuttle (plastics). Pay via Swish to Satu, 073 5899 008. If you do not have Swish, message me. I have Wise and Revolut, too. RSVPs without Swish will not be counted. If you have swished but did not get the spot (someone else swished before you), I will swish you back.
If you have swished, you can cancel (by writing to me) at the latest 24 hours before the game starts and get the fee back. Last-minute cancellation may be charged (full or half, depending on cases)
REQUIREMENTS
- Non-marking indoor badminton shoes
- Badminton Racket (If you don't have your own rackets, there is a facility for renting at the reception at your own cost.)
TRAINING FOR BEGINNERS AND INTERMEDIATE
If you are a beginner or intermediate and interested in training to improve your skills, we have two options: train with a professional at our Racket Sports Club, or Satu (a non-professional) can help with a little coaching as well. Just let us know if you are interested in this. - Wednesday Badminton at Sundbybergsundbyberg rackethall, Stockholm

We play with the plastic shuttle (Yonex Mavis 350 medium). If you are playing with feathers, you can bring your own feather shuttle. Most of us would not mind playing with feathers.
