What we’re about
Love to enjoy the year round great weather in SoCal and opportunities it provides for having fun dancing, drinking, eating, listening to music, watching live shows, and making new friends in the fresh air instead of indoors? Then this is the group for you...
Want to work off calories with Hiking, Biking, Paddling SUPs, Snowboarding, Boating, Beach days, Ziplining, etc? Still the right group for you...
Like good food and wine, beer, cocktails, etc. but are past the stage of always needing a friend to hold your hair back at the end of the night? Yup, right group....
Still have a healthy sense of humor and believe in seeing the bright side and finding the funny in situations? Hell YES! You have found your people. :)
Basically, if you are fun, outgoing and love doing tons of things outdoors but would like a few more friends to do them with THIS IS THE GROUP!
We will meet up to enjoy Live Bands, Outdoor DJ's, Music festivals, Concerts, etc, with dancing not only possible, but highly encouraged- even without a dance floor!
We'll also go on day hikes, paddle SUPs, do bike rides, go snowboarding, etc. And of course, a break for an adult beverage is likely to be involved as well...
Other possibilities: Pageant of the Masters, Long Beach Grand Prix, trips to Catalina, Winery visits, Brewery events, Holiday Celebrations, Restaurant Specials, Food festivals, etc. As long as something is outside, it's fair game for a good time!
Suggestions from members are highly encouraged!
The end goal is to make some great new friends to do things you love with- safely outside and drama free. No firm age range, just be mature enough to have a fabulous time while also being responsible and reliable. Ask questions, do research if needed, come prepared, on time and ready to have fun!
Ladies Only
Cheers!

See all- Early Hike with gorgeous views in Laguna BeachLaguna Coast Wilderness-Dartmoor/Dunagan-Gate 14, Laguna Beach, CA
Want to burn off (or earn) those weekend calories? Join us for an 8+ mile hike in the hills above Laguna Beach! We will start early to try and avoid the heat, but you may want to bring a cooling towel just to be more comfortable.
RSVP CLOSES AT 10pm the night before our morning hikes, so please change your RSVP if you can't make it after all.
The views are like being in Hawaii on the first part overlooking the beach. Later we'll be up on a ridge trail for a bit then drop down into a forested area for a bit of shade, before climbing back up and making our way back to the beach. So lots of hill climbing involved as well as a lot of pretty flat stuff. Good mixed workout.
If you want to have a look on a trail map, we'll be doing Boat Road to Bommer Ridge to Emerald Canyon, then taking Old Emerald back up to Bommer and returning on the same route via Boat road. A "Lollipop" hike.
The whole trek takes about 3.25 hours going at a medium quick pace (think 2 steps per second)
Wear hiking shoes with good traction. Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and lots of water along with a snack if you like when we pause at the halfway point. Oh, and you might want to have a little tissue for your nose or your other bits in case a bathroom break is needed, lol. There are a few good spots! If it's hot or already sunny, you might want to bring a wet cooling towel like this one. Really helps!
Please leave the four legged friends at home for this one. No pups allowed on the trail. Although we may see other wildlife! Quail, roadrunners, bunnies, and lots of lizards!
Meet at the Laguna Coast Wilderness-Dartmoor/Dunagan-Gate 14 trailhead at the end of Dartmoor street in Laguna Beach. Plan to arrive 15 minutes early at 7:15 to lace up, get ready, stretch and meet everyone. We'll head off at 7:30 sharp. If you are running late you can catch up with us on the trail since we will take several water/photo breaks along the way.
The address for maps: 401-599 Dartmoor St, Laguna Beach, CA 92651
The best part about this hike is that we start uphill, so we finish going downhill at the end!
RSVP by 10pm the night before.
- Beat the Heat...on a Standup Paddleboard or Kayak!OC Paddlesports, Sunset Beach, CA
It's officially HOT! Let's spend a day on the water paddling SUPs or kayaks! (And earn some calories for later...Paddling is a great core workout!)
Huntington Harbor is a great place for a fun paddle, with lots of cool houses and yachts. So this is fine if you are new to it and not afraid to get wet in case of a wobble or two! Heck, it's hot, you might want to jump in the water on purpose!
You will need a decent level of fitness to paddle against the wind if it kicks up later in the day, but kneeling down helps.
The rental place also provides life jackets and some instruction with the board. Or if a kayak makes you more comfortable, you can always do that! :)
We'll meet on the beach next to OC Paddlesports (where you can rent a board for $25 if you don't have your own) and cruise through the canals, with a stop at the beaches for refreshments and a break.
Bring something to drink (adult beverages are fine!) and a snack if you want. Possibly a small towel to sit on or dry off with if you go for a swim.
Then we'll paddle our way back to the start.
And in case you were wondering, yes, there will be bathrooms available if you don't want to "test the water!"
- Since it's PCH come EARLY (9:45) to find parking!! It can take a little while sometimes or you might be walking a bit.
We'll meetup at 10:00 am to give everyone time to get their gear sorted out, put on sunscreen, get instruction, etc. We'll splash down at 10:15 in the water and start the party! If you are ready early you can paddle around just off the beach and practice your skills.
(And if you want more of a workout and have your own board, message me in the comments about meeting a little earlier at another launch location)
Afterwards, anyone who wants to continue the party can decide on someplace for lunch. There are lots of fun restaurants and breweries nearby, plus a great brunch place with plenty of shaded parking.
Or...you can continue having fun on the water! Rentals are good for the whole day.
If you're a seasoned paddler, you already know what to bring, but here are some tips for newbies:
- Get to OC Paddlesports a little before 10am if you can, to get your gear- bring a drybag of some sort that you can put under the bungee cords on the board to hold a small towel, a cold drink or two, sunscreen, keys, phone, money, cards, etc. It will get a bit wet on the outside but should ideally keep everything dry that's on the inside.
- If it's a homemade drybag (like just a plastic bag) or you're not completely confident about it, also put valuables in a waterproof bag or ziplock first.
- Wear a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
- And wear something that dries quickly just in case you get wet. If you like leggings, it's sometimes a good idea to also wear a bikini bottom under them in case you get wet or just want to take them off later.
- Bring water
- If you've got a waterproof speaker you like to use when you paddle, bring it along! I'll have mine playing a variety of fun tunes.
RENTALS ARE $25 and they take cards or cash
