🔹 Tables and seating are first come, first serve.
🔹 Later in the evening they may charge a small cover and limit capacity.
🔷 Entrance is on Prospect Street, located in between Fountain Square Theater and Maialina Restaurant. Enter through the door with the blue sign that says DUCKPIN BOWLING ENTRANCE. ✨see photos below✨
Then you can either take the elevator or stairs to the top floor.

🌟 Please note: location is in Central Time (CT) zone 🌟

The Perseid is the largest meteor shower in the northern hemisphere showcasing 90+ meteors per hour and what better way to watch it than from the beach! ✨

• 8pm CT / 9pm ET: Meet up
• 8:30pm CT / 9:30pm ET: Telescopes for deep sky viewing and constellation talks begin (next to the Pavilion)

Peak time to see the most meteors will be between 10pm-1am 🌠

Bring a chair, towel, bug spray, snacks, flashlights, or whatever you need and enjoy these spectacular views with us from the State Park’s beach. 💫🌌🌙
Bring a sweater or coat because it will get cold late in the evening

Entrance into the park is $7/🚗 for in-state residents or $12/🚙 for out-of-state residents.

The beach has restrooms and shower facilities ☑️

This is a parks event, so there will be more people in addition to our group.

Let’s celebrate the lighting of the lanterns! 🏮

Big outdoor festival with live music, food trucks, drinks, and shopping booths. Come join us and hang out with friends and meet new people. 🍻

Right after sunset, the lanterns are lit and it makes the whole park look like magic! 🌟
