Greater Houston REIA is Houston's Chapter of National REIA. We are a community of investors by investors for investors. Whether you are brand new to real estate, a seasoned investor, or anywhere in between; we invite you to our monthly meetings. And hopefully you consider becoming a member. Our monthly meetings are once a month on the 2nd Saturday of the month. The address of our meetings is: 1001 W Loop S (Suite 550) Houston, TX 77027.
Time: 8:30am-12p
Park on the 7th Floor of the parking garage and follow the signs.
General Agenda/Meeting Flow
NETWORKING & BREAKFAST TACOS - Doors open at 8:30am for networking. So, bring business cards and connect with others, including our vendors. We also provide breakfast tacos, sodas, water, & coffee!
ANNOUNCEMENTS - This is where we share the latest happenings, recognize member wins, recognize our volunteers, and let you know what excited events we have coming up.
HAVES & WANTS - Do you have something you are looking to get rid of, barter, sell for cheap? Or is there something specific you are looking for? This is the part of the meeting where you will have the opportunity to share what you have or are wanting.....
DEAL A MINUTE - Do you have a deal under contract and are looking for a buyer, partner, or funding? This part of the meeting is your opportunity to present your deals!
TIP OF THE MONTH - Every month we will have an expert deliver a tip of the month to help contribute to your success. This is not just a 1 or 2 minute "hey do this".... This segment, depending on the topic is between 15-30 minutes. Part of it will be presentation and part of it will be Q & A....
MAIN EVENT - This segment is dedicated to the keynote speaker to deliver CONTENT!!! CONTENT!!! CONTENT!!! We work diligently to bring in the BEST speakers to share their secrets and experiences on the hottest topics!!!
DOOR PRIZES - Upon checking in and entering please make sure you get a ticket. And make sure you KEEP that ticket handy. We will draw for door prizes!!! But, you must be present & present your ticket if your ticket is drawn.
Classes & Education
If you are looking to grow your knowledge of real estate investing, you are in the right place. We offer lots of opportunities for growth.
- Afternoon Sessions - From time to time, we offer afternoon sessions after the meeting. These afternoon sessions are 1pm-4pm or 1pm-5pm and are extremely full of CONTENT that you can use and implement in your real estate investing business.
- 1 & 2 day Classes - We also offer a variety of classes on real estate investing, ranging from lead generation to closing deals and everything in between.
- Property Tours - We also offer property tours where we spend a day in the field walking properties, showing you all the aspects of rehabbing, managing contractors, estimating repairs, how to do the RIGHT rehab, what properties to pass & play, managing rehabs, etc. Then we go back to the classroom and show you how to evaluate your properties, fund your properties, keep your properties, etc....
- We also offer online classes and webinars.
- Facebook Group: We have a private Facebook Group dedicated to education. Free to join. Click here to join the Facebook Group (we do weekly live trainings in the facebook group every Wednesday at 6pm)
- Foreclosure Auction Tours & Classes - We also offer classes at the Harris County Foreclosure Auction. During these tours & classes we show you what is going on, when and/or why you should/should not buy at the auction, and more!
