GRID Clifton is a real estate community built by investors for investors. We are a group of real people doing real deals.
Our core mission is to connect to, learn from, and collaborate with like-minded people interested in building wealth and creating impact through real estate.
We welcome investors of all experience levels. We are life-long learners and believe everyone has value to share.

How it works
We meet once a month, 12 months a year, on the same day, week, and time of the month. Each month we cover a different investing topic in the Lifecycle of an Investor—ranging from wholesaling to rehabbing to becoming a bank through private lending.
Our meetings are not sales pitches. They are opportunities for us to dive deep into a real estate topic, connect with local experts in our marketplace, and build long-term relationships with other doers and deal-makers.

GRID Clifton is led by Will Baxter and Dave Zimmerman.
About Will
Born in Wichita, and raised in Garden City, Kansas, Will lives in Clifton, Virginia with his wife, Shelley, 2 children, Levi and McKenna, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.
Will served as an aerial navigator on KC-130 aircraft and later as a Marine Security Guard stationed in Damascus, Syria. After his military service, Will focused on cybersecurity and has spent 20 years as an IT Security and technology subject matter expert and is still actively engaged in taking down bad guys around the world.
Will began investing in real estate and running construction projects in 2017.
Since then, he has completed more than 500 renovations in the northern Virginia area and has built teams that have managed and redeveloped over 25 properties in the DMV region. Will launched his Design Pro Remodeling team in 2019 and has focused on supporting Realtors, their clients, Investors, Property Managers, and anyone else seeking renovation services.
Will is also the co-founder and owner of Zabi Properties, which is a turn-key real estate investment company that provides all the necessary capabilities an investor might need to build, maintain, or grow their portfolio.
Will is most excited to get to know new people and engage in the growth and development of the community. His goal is to give back and help build a stronger community in Clifton, Virginia!
About Dave
Dave leads the CAZA Clifton real estate team with a hyperlocal focus on one of the last "Small Towns" in Fairfax County.
The CAZA Clifton and Fairfax Station community is a truly charming oasis on the western side of the county with multi-acre properties, a unique and historic downtown, and the last road-level railroad crossing in Fairfax County. This area is filled with homeowners and real estate investors and it only makes sense that this area-specific expertise be shared with the Clifton GRID investor community.
As a successful managing partner of the CAZA Group, when Dave wears his realtor hat, he focuses on helping his listing clients develop the best, smart-money strategy when selling their homes. He guides his sellers in the wisest place to spend renovation dollars, returning them the most money in the shortest amount of time. This perspective benefits Dave's investor contacts as well.
Dave's expertise guides his clients in the 4 P's of the Home Selling Strategy: home Preparation to drive the most ROI, home Positioning to create the largest buyer pool, Preservation of Seller's Equity through skilled negotiation, and the Predictability of a proven system producing 100% satisfied clients.
Dave and his realtor wife Denna have enjoyed living and raising their children in Northern Virginia for the past 30 years. They have first-hand knowledge of the neighborhoods, and the schools, and have certainly experienced the area traffic!
