What we’re about
Welcome to GRWebDev powered by LaFleur!
We are a group of web developers in the Grand Rapids, MI area. We discuss all aspects of developing for the web, from HTML, CSS, and Javascript to design, user experience, usability, accessibility, and tools.
Whether you write code, write content, design, or manage, when you work on the web there is a lot of common ground. Join us to learn from each other about best web practices, cross-browser compatibility, Javascript frameworks, style hacks, project management, and other web-related topics.
Our meetup is for the community, by the community. If there is a topic you would like to present, we'd love to hear from you! Submit a presentation idea here: https://forms.gle/p8YWaaGLBAR4XZVb8

Why are these containers used, and how do they help streamline configuration and management of the development environment? This month at GRWebDev, Noah Jahn will lead us through a hands-on workshop using Docker, a popular tool for creating environment containers. We’ll learn how to write and optimize our own Docker files and understand how Docker is used both locally and also in production. Join us at Start Garden on Monday, October 28th at 6pm!
