Hack Augusta

Hack Augusta is a non-profit 501(c)3 established in December 2012. Our mission is to inspire ideas, build companies, and create community by connecting learners and leaders in technology, business, and design.
We operate theClubhou.se, a hackerspace/makerspace/coworking space/business incubator located in the third floor of the Georgia Cyber Center at 100 Grace Hopper Ln, Ste 3700, Augusta, GA 30901.
We offer over 100 events and classes per year, primarily through our website http://theclubhou.se
Events include regular community based hackathons, large scale multi-city hackathons such as International Space Apps Challenge, and National Day of Civic Hacking, conferences such as TEDxAugusta and Web Afternoon Augusta, monthly lunch and learns, weekly networking/show and tell events such Beer and Bytes, and weekly startup mentoring through Founders Circle.
theClubhou.se and Hack Augusta are volunteer led with one employee to assist in building management and program coordination. Our organizations derives its revenues from the following sources. 1/3 individual and corporate memberships, 1/3 from unrestricted donations and sponsorships, 1/3 from event income.
The vast majority of our programs and events are free to the public and as such account for roughly 1/2 of all organizational expenses. Membership in theClubhou.se starts at $30/month and includes access to workspace, tools, and mentors.
